Can I Upgrade My Tickets and Dining at Check In

We just booked free dining for November at the Pop. What we're wondering is if we just book 2 day park tickets and not upgrade to regular dining right now can we do it upon check in? The reason is that it knocks 800.00 off the price we have to pay at the 45 day window. Why give Disney the money before we have to, right? The issue is NOT that we don't have the money it's just that we'd rather hold onto our money as long as possible.

You can change your tickets at check in, but changes to dining plan need to be made 72 hours before check in (it may be 48 hours, but I think it is 72).

You can upgrade tickets at check in but not dining. All changes to dining must be done at least 3 days before checkin, and the cost of those changes would be due then.

That's correct, as I understand it. Dining needs to be in place 3 days ahead of time.
