I would love to know if I can send images to say CVS or Walgreens or even RiteAid....Is this possible? I have a TON of pictures on my PC and suddenly after 4 years of no contact we are going to visit my father-in-law in 2 days....I would love to have some pictures made up for him rather quickly without a lot of fuss. I have used Snapfish and the like, but obviously now there is no time for that....oh, and I HATE those Kodak machines...I always end up having to make a CD at home to take to the store first...rather not do that either...Before I really investigate, I thought I would check here...I get all my best info here, LOL! Thank youuuuu!

Yes, you can upload pictures to Wal-Mart, CVS, Walgreen, etc. Probably Target as well. I do it all the time rather than purchase a photo quality printer because I only print a few of the pictures I take.

My favorite is Walgreens as far as quality goes. I think you can go thru Snapfish and have the pictures printed locally at a Walgreens. When I order prints through Walgreens I get an e-mail when they are ready, it's usually an hour or 2.

I don't like the quality at my local Walmart and the service when picking up is lousy.

all you have to do is upload your pictures to the site, I use Walgreens because it is so close, plus that have lots of good coupons and sales on their pics. And choose when you want them. It takes longer than an hour but usually is ready the same day. Hope that helps!

Absolutely! I do it all the time. Go to the website for whatever store you want to use and you will have to make and account. Then you will upload your photos from your computer to the site. Most of them will also let you edit, crop, adjust or even add fun things to your photos.

Then you select the ones you want and order them and choose where to pick them up. You can pick them up at your local store, or you can even select a store no where near you. I have ordered them for my mom many states away to go and pick up to have.

Basically your order is just sent electronically to whatever store you select. I would caution you that if you need them asap you might want to call the store and be sure that you will be able to get them when you need them. I have sent things to my local store to pick up in one hour and when I showed up they said they were out of paper/ink/time etc.. and they weren't ready.

Usually the one hour option is more expensive because that is done in the store. If you opt for a pick up several days later then it goes to the send out facility and is delivered to the store a few days later and is a bit cheaper. There are also tons of coupons for photo prints out there. The store ads usually have them, or you may find some online. Also you can choose what size you want done if you want some larger or smaller than the standard print size.

Oh thank you very much! I knew I would get good advice here! I have a Walgreens nearby, so if they have the best quality, I will go with them. I think I saw a coupon code or something for them recently...for a free print or something...will have to check it out....Thanks again!!!

Snapfish has a code right now for 120 photos for $10.
The code is MOM2010 and it expires May 14th.
You can have them printed at Walgreens today and they will be ready later today or tomorrow.

Yes, I do this all of the time.

With walgreens I even order pics for my inlaws out of the country and they go pick them up at their local walgreens store.

I do this all the time with the Walgreens down the street from me. The part I like best is they email you to know when they've been printed. They've always been ready even earlier than promised for me - sometimes it seems like I get that email that they are printed and waiting to be picked up within just 5 or 10 minutes of submitting my order, even the larger sizes! I've had them print 4x6, 5x7 and 8x10s for me - all have turned out nicely.

ETA: Google around for a coupon code. There are always some out there.

Are Walgreens, CVS, Walmart all 1 hour? I've only used Costco which works out well. I upload photos to their website and 1 hour later I drive over and my photos are done.

My Walgreens is one hour. Even better it's open 24/7 and it seems like the photo department is open until 11PM (maybe) because I've ordered prints on line around 9-10PM and get an e-mail that they are ready shortly after.

Another vote for walgreens - great prints -the digital true size in the matte finish can't be beat for price or quality.

I would just doublecheck with the store you are sending it to if you absolutely have to have them at a certain time. We have had two occasions where machines were broken. They are "supposed" to call the customer right away, but neither time did they. So just to be on the safe side, I'd give the store a quick call to make sure everything is operating normally.

:thumbsup2 I think that with some places those emails are sent automatically. Several times I have gotten them that my order was ready to be picked up and when I got to the store they hadn't even started it.:headache:

Of the computer then receive by mail I've used Snapfish, Shutteryfly & Kodakgallery, I like Kodakgallery the best.

But since you need them quickly - of the send online - pick up in store variety - I've used CVS, Walgreens, Rite-aid, Target & Walmart. Of those I like Target the best. They also have a great price.

I upload my photos to Kodakgallery then choose pick up in store and get them at target in about an hour. Fast and easy. You can use a Kodak code or a target code to get savings. The same goes for shutterfly. :thumbsup2

I've had that happen to me on several occasions with Wal-Mart. Plus there is always a line at the photo counter to pick up. And the quality is not good at my Wal-Mart;Walgreens and CVS are so much better.
