Can I leave and return to the same theme park

Can I leave and return to the same theme park if I have an 8 day water park fun and more ticket. Would I being using up 2 admissions if I did this? I'd like to go back to my Resort and eat.

We've always gotten hoppers or AP so I don't know for sure but I'm pretty sure I've seen people here say as long as it's the same park, you can leave and go back later in the day and only use 1 admission.
