Is Fantasmic worth it? We are doing it in October and have a dining reservation. Thanks!

Absolutely! positively!!! it's amazing and one of our favorites. Don't miss it! We'll be there in october as well.

I doubt that mama mia's needs ADRs, but I can tell you that Mama Melrose's does. ;)

And, if you want a Fantasmic! Dining Pkg. you must book your ADR as Fantasmic! Dining Pkg. meal.

On my last trip on the first week of March, I was going to see Fantasmic. I'd planned it on 2 nights just in case I missed one night, I could see it on the other.

On the first night (a Thursday) - I was walking down sunset when the announcement was made that it was standing room only - this was 15 minutes before the show started. So I decided to wait and go on Friday.

Friday 30 minutes before the show started, I was walking into the area to get into the stadium and the announcement came that it was standing room only.

I didn't think it was that busy in the parks except for Magic Kingdom.

We had a dinner package and were seated way to the left. It wasn't the best section at all but luckily we were able to sit towards the middle area....there were many people standing behind our seats.

My family and I went last year in May and we walked right in and got good seats in the middle pretty much.

Keep in mind that with the triple water screens, all the seats in the theater are good seats. Only exceptions tend to be the close up front half dozen rows or so. With breezy or windy conditions, and wind blowing toward the seating area, you will get somewhere between wet and soaked. Might be nice on a hot summer night, but definitely not in the cooler months. Something to consider.

As for timing, I do not think we have ever been there more than 30 minutes prior, never difficult finding good seats (as they are all good), and never a tie-in meal.
