Can I get some prayers for my dad?

My father has been having some back problems - he has been to a chiropractor and he said he has muscle spasms. He first went last week - another dr. put him on a muscle relaxer - now the chiropractor wants him to have a catscan because he says the muscle should have relaxed by now and he shouldn't be in as much discomfort. So we have this to worry about - I think sometimes they just do this till they find something *really* wrong with you. Thank you.

I'll get your dad into my prayers right away...I do think that muscle spasms can take a while to go away though, just like back strain. That can take weeks and weeks to feel even slightly better.

I hope he starts to feel better real soon.

I also think muscle spasms can last a while before the muscles will fully relax for some people. I know at my previous job, there was a guy who was out for several weeks due to muscle problems in his back, so don't give up hope yet.

Stacey, my prayers are with your dad. I am actually going through something similar right now. Currently on the muscle relaxant and will start PT tomorrow. No mention of the MRI or the like for me yet. So I feel for your dad right now. I really hope for the best

I was involved in a car accident several years ago and I had problems with my back for over a year (I was of work for ayear on disability). I had lots of muscle spasms during that period whilst I was seeing the chiropractor. Hope that your dad is doing a lot better soon.
