can i get a GV at OKW in May (at 7 months)

I own at SSR and would like to stay at OKW, GV in May of 2005. Should I book the SSR GV at 11 months and then try for OKW at 7 months. If so, can I cancel me ressies at SSR. I have 300 points and an april UY, so If I bank my points this year, I will have 600 points and thats just about enough for a week at SSR. If i get the OKW ressie it would only be about 460. What are my options with the cancelation. Can I bank the extra 140 points. Would love to hear your input on this. Thanks Steve

Let me get this straight. You have an April UY, so your stay would be within the 2005 use year. Therefore, you do want to bank the 2004 points and make your SSR ressie at the 11 month mark. Then at 7 months, if you try for the OKW GV and get it, you are within the 6 month banking window where you can bank up to 150 of your points.

Sounds like a plan to me! Make sure MS uses your banked points first when you make the reservation.

We're also planning to reserve an OKW GV in May of 2005. I think as long as the dates do not include Memorial Day weekend, chances are good.
