Can I downgrade my AP?

I purchased an AP this past summer, hoping to take advantage of the BRP. Unfortunately, it wasn't available and I'm wondering if, when I go down in two weeks, I could exchange my AP (I haven't activated it yet, only have a voucher) for a regular MWY pass?

Anyone know?

I don't believe disney allows downgrading. I don't think they will do anything where they have to refund you money. Others will know for sure.

I don't think they allow it, either. However, you could, I think, save it for a better time and get a MYW ticket for this trip. I believe the 1 year for the AP tickets starts with activation.

You can get a refund on the voucher as long as it's not activated. Then you can use the money to purchase MYW tickets. Or, like someone else said, you can keep the voucher for a later time just in case you decide to use it.

Several CM's told me that APs are not refundable, under any circumstances. I had asked if I could get a refund on my exchange certificate and purchase a regular ticket and they said no.

Ugggh. When I went in March, I had bought an AP for my dh. The week before we were going, he said he wasn't going. I called and they told me to bring the voucher to Guest Services at the park when I activated mine and they would refund my money. Now, he ended up going so I never had to do it, so maybe the CM I spoke to was wrong, but I would definately speak to a supervisor and find out for sure since we have been told different things. This is happening way too often lately!
