can i make my dining ressies now for our jan /feb 2011 then after we all have decided on a resort book it then add the free dining for my ressies? thanks!

Shouldn't be a problem. The only limiting circumstance would be the availibility at the resort in question. Making dining reservations can be done with or without a trip booked.

Yes you can make dining ressies without having your vacation booked yet.

yes you can. It is just linked to your name instead of your resort stay. (The only thing I have booked so far is the ADR's... resort will be booked this week, now the offers are out).

I just did this today - made ADR's at 180 days out and booked my resort with free dining plan this morning . It was nice to have my ADR's in place before the free dining was offered as I'm sure everything will start to fill up now.

You don't have to add your resort reservation to your dining reservation, its not needed. When you get to a restaurant, they look at your card (key for the hotel, entrance to the park and use for dining) to see what plan you have (sometimes the waiter does this beforehand) and they deduct it in the system. They don't go off of the reservation details, so it doesn't matter if you link it or not.
