Can I do this with AAA and then change to AP?

I have booked a room at BC for next year using AAA. I am thinking of getting an AP for the extra perks. Now my question, if a good room rate comes out later would I be able to cancel the AAA rate and take the AP rate if available for our dates?

Yes as long as it is a room only reservation through Disney (with the AAA rate). It can't be a package or a room only booked through AAA.

Well it can be booked through AAA but you would have to cancel the room, if you book with Disney you can just have the new code applied to your existing reservation.

Thanks for the reply. I am not counting on getting the AP rate but it would be a nice chunk of change if I could get the AP rate. AAA did save us around $700 this past Dec on our rooms with their discount.
