I see now. If you disclosed your insurance information, they would have privy to your personal situation. It seems that in this case, you were in a no win situation. If you disclosed it would make public something that you wanted to remain private. And if you didn't disclose, they could fire you without just cause. It seems to me that I would just talk to someone from the ACLU. They could tell you better than people on a message board if this would be discrimination.
