Can I add onto my Home Resort booking with other contracts at 7 months?

If I book a 5 days (that's all the points I have on home resort) at 11 months, can I extend it 2 more days to 7 days at 7 month mark with another contract? This is assuming there is availability at the 7 month mark.

Does modifying work or do I need to make a new reservation with the other contract?

As long as the other contract is in the same membership (same UY, same owners) you should be able to modify the original reservation to add the additional nights. If it’s a different membership, you’ll have to book the 2 nights as a separate reservation and then chat/email/call MS to ad a “continuing stay” notation to both reservations so that you won’t have to change rooms. (When you arrive, confirm with front desk that you’re booked in the same room, because if not they can fix it more easily at that time.)

Yes, you can do that! I do it all the time, as long as same membership as indicated above.

Then you will need to do two separate and ask MS to link with a note same group. We do this and have never had to change rooms…although they will always tell you it is a possibility.

Thanks! I'll give it a try. I don't have a planned vacation yet but I am sure I will be doing this since I don't have enough at either home resort for more than 4 days

Transferring points is another option so you can use all the points in one membership. Just be aware of the rules regarding transferring first since you can't undo the transfer.

Also stop at the front desk of the resort, and let them know you'd like it shown as a continuing reservation and would prefer not to move.

You will also have to wait until the 7-month window for the 6th day (the first of the new days).
