Can honeymoon be included in room block?

If we decide to stay at one of the resorts that we have blocked off for the wedding...can our honeymoon count towards the room night minimum? How far before and after can we start blocking off the room? My family is probably going to stay at least 5 nights after the wedding.

I think we did 1 week before the wedding and 3-4 days after- so I would yes I do not see why not...as long as you fill your min I think it can span 1-2 weeks....the hard part is just arragning the amount of rooms you will need per night at each resort.

Our honeymoon week counted towards our room block and so did the days leading up to the wedding.

Ours did too. Our actual block was about 10 days (in order for us to get a discount at one of our blocked hotels a week after the wedding), but all 15 days of our stay counted toward the room-night minimum.

Ours did. We were staying for 12 days after the wedding and it counted...but only if it's continuous. We thought about doing a cruise in the middle. If we had checked out, the block would have ended.

Also if someone stays at another hotel in disney their rooms count as well. We had some people staying at Old Key WEst since they owned DVC but we were able to count their reservation.

We were able to work with our wedding team to have dates before and after the wedding count, including our honeymoon which was 8 nights after the wedding.
