Can DVC buy dining plan

I am not a DVC member but I rent points. My family is planning our December vacation and I was wanting to rent points again but only if DVC can purchase the dining plan with tickets. Last Sept when I rented points this was not an option. Any information is appreciated.

You can add the dining plan to your reservation, but not tickets.

You can buy tickets (except AP's) at the front desk.
