Can bring stuffed teddy on plane?

My DD is very attached to her Mickey Teddy Bear, so can she carry her teddy onto the plane?

Most definetaly.

Bring any special lovey's she does have vs putting them in your suitcase. You wouldn't want to loose anything special like that.

Don't forget to bring her other things too like new toys, books (my almost 2 yo & 4yo love Ispy so I bought a new one for the plane), gummy bears/fruit snacks for her ears, etc...

Yup. Just make sure that you explain to your little princess that Teddy will have to take a ride through the tunnel (Xray Machine). Not a big deal at all, but I've seen some little ones FREAK when Teddy had to go on the belt.

Definitely take it as carryon so you will have it. My son always packs his special sleep animal in his carryon backpack (with things to do and eat on the plane). Be prepared that the stuffed animal will go their the airport X-Ray screening machine - so your daughter will have to part with it for that brief time.

Tip for flying with little ones - pack a sippy cup and fill with water. Have them take little sips on take off and, again, at landing. Good for helping their ears pop and handle the change in air pressure.

My almost 12 y/o dd's Corduroy bear has more miles on him than most people!!! The only time it was ever a problem was when we flew back to Worcester, Ma from Sanford airport on PanAM. They would not allow any carry-on at all. This was about 2 months after 9/11 so I could understand it. But, since they allowed her to carry the bear on with her in Worcester, I would have thought Sanford would have the same rules. Quite the scene there when dd realized her bear was not going with her, but with the checked luggage!!! Good thing PanAm doesn't fly out of Worc. anymore. Not that any airline flies there anymore!!!!
Now, Corduroy Bear goes everywhere with her...going to camp next week!!!
