Can I bring a soft-sided cooler (which fits into the bottom of my stroller) into Universal?? thanks.

Thanks to all who responded. Anyone else been recently and was able to bring in a soft-sided cooler with drinks and snacks? Thanks.

Snacks and drinks are always handy to have with you when exploring the theme parks. You can carry them with you in a backpack or shoulder bag. Be aware that your bag will be inspected by Security before you enter the theme parks, and you may have to check it in a rental locker before boarding certain thrill rides and roller coasters.

PLEASE NOTE: Coolers are not permitted in either theme park.

a big old honkin cooler on wheels is not permitted....but something softsided and small enough to fit under the stroller should be fine.

you mean something like this?:

It holds 18 cans (just don't bring beer or alcohol)

I realize coolers aren't permitted however they aren't permitted in most parks yet I always seem to be able to bring one as in Disney. Thanks tlinus, my cooler is even smaller than that and I'm going to give it a try. If I have any problems I'll just collapse the cooler and stuff the goods in my bag. No alcohol of course. Again, if anyone has been allowed to enter recently with a small, soft-sided cooler in their stroller please let me know. Thanks to all.

this might be a little late but somone might find it helpful

this is from universals site so I know it is accurate. you can check on their site under planning and what to bring to see the info from them directly

Just back from a Thanksgiving week trip. We brought in a "duffle-bag" type cooler (soft) without any problems. I had water bottles, a couple cans of pop and snacks (combos, wheat-thins). Security does go thru it, but said nothing.
