When April school vacation and spring break is? We have friends who want to visit WDW in April, but wish to avoid the week the kids are out of school.

It seems schools in different parts of the country are out at different times.

March and April are major months for breaks. So, there isn't one week to avoid--except for Easter.

Basically, avoid the weeks before and after Easter at all costs to avoid the big crowds.

The schools in our area are out the week prior to Easter, and they go back on Easter Monday. Other schools could have different schedules, however!

Easter falls on April 20 this year, so they may want to especially avoid April 11-27. Things should tail off after April 27, because that should be the end of spring breaks. As someone else mentioned, schools have spring breaks throughout March and April. But the week before and after Easter are the busiest. JMHO.

Most places in MA have vacation the week of Patriots Day.
