We haven't flown from Manchester for years but we got some cheap flights for Easter 2015 and i couldn't turn them down ;)

Can anyone recommend a good hotel (must sleep 4) and anywhere decent to park the car? Thinking meet and greet, although id like to know where my car is, its a company one so not worried about them knocking up mileage :rolleyes1

TIA

We always stay at the Hilton, nice clean rooms, good food & a very good shuttle service to airport and back to your car.

Sounds good, we always stay at the Hilton at Gatwick mainly for convenience :-)

Just priced up Rad Blue ... £327 with parking, no breakfast ... Yikes!

we stayed at the Premier Inn, and parked at the mulitstory attached to the airport. Room was very clean and bed very comfy

Another prem inn voter. Stayed there on our last trip for£29 for 3 of us, great value just a short trip by taxi the next morning. We didn't need parking but I think they have started to do a parking package. Good night sleep promise or money back. Comfiest beds and good bar.

We stayed at the Hilton in a family room when we flew from MAN. Room was really nice (probably better than LGW) and then used the airport meet & greet parking for convenience.

Would use both again :thumbsup2

When are you going? I've never paid more than £235 for a family room (so two rooms) with 16 days parking! That seems a lot??????

We are looking at 18th March 2015, need 20 days parking ... I don't mind £250 but £330 with no breaky is too much IMO

Ouch!!! We just paid 269 for a business class room including 15 days parking, breakfast and free alcohol in the lounge until 9pm!!

We need 20 days parking and it's a week day, maybe that pushing it up?

I will look for you as well. I had a look after your post today. The website is a little different and some random days showed up ridiculous prices with other what I am used to. I wonder if it is glitchy if they have upgraded the website? How many of you are travelling?

Just a note about the breakfast. It's expensive but we have always had it because my hubby and son love it. It is good. However, when I went with just my 13 year old in May who eats like a flea, we didn't bother and ate at Frankie and Bennys instead in the airport. It was good in here and half the price.

Do you definitely need 20 days parking?

I only ask because we booked 8 days parking for our trip lasting 10 days and they were totally fine with it if it's a day or two either side. We rang them before to add two days on, but they told us it was free and not an issue. So if your trip was 14 nights, with one overnight stay and an overnight flight back (16 nights) they would let you book 15 nights parking if you ring in advance and let them know.

Another for premier Inn as only a 5 min drive to the airport where we had meet and greet on site.Paid £29 for family room and £45 for 2 weeks parking. Breakfast buffet was £7.50 and kids ate free. Booked through holiday extras and top cash back

Prices seem to be mad for your dates. I am sorry. Not sure why?

Aww thank you for looking :)

Yes, we are staying 19 nights, this is what part of the problem is so might have to book it all separate to get the best deal :)
