Can anyone pick up a National rental at WDW Car Care Center??

Hi. This is only my second time ever renting a car. We are flying into Orlando and need a car to go home. Through Mousesavers.com I read about the WDW Car Care Center for Alamo and National rentals. Alamo charges $100+ for one-way fee but National doesn't. I can rent the car and drop it off in my home town for $61.28 total. When I go to the Disney.com site, however it mentions Alamo pickups and "For Emerald Aisle members...National pick-ups" Does this mean I need to join EA? The nationalcar.com site allows me to reserve it no problem... Has anyone picked up from WDW Car Care Center? Help! Thanks!

At last check both National and Alamo were at the Car Care center. They actually don't even have an Emerald Aisle so I don't think you will need to join.

If it takes your reservation you are fine. Also, verify that you are getting unlimited mileage. I have seen some one way rentals with no drop off charge, but with milage. Depending on where you are going, that could add up.
