Can anyone offer any advice?

I am super nervous about my home rental in Fl, how to I check up to ensure it is legit? Has anyone dealt with IPG Management company? Stayed at windsorhillpoolhomedotcom?

I paid my deposit and the balance is due, but have not heard back from landlord/homeowner. The only contact info I have is a Skype number, I dont have skype! Oh, and the email that I am not getting a response from.

We have gone through IPG and everything is legit. If you have the home owner's name you can check the tax records. IPG is a fairly large company so I doubt if there's anything wrong.

I always check the tax records as well. You can find them by searching for the county auditors website. If you have the address or the owners name you should be able to locate the public records.

How do I search the tax records? Please help, I am totally new to this. I googled and so many different websites came up adn I have no idea which one I am looking for. I cannot find anything under the address she gave me.

Thank you so much for all of your help! It took me quite a while last night, but I did find the deed records, mortgage records, and that all county tax bills are paid in full on time each year all in the name of the person I rented from so she seems pretty legit! I know I am overly cautious, but I would hate to get there and have no where to stay and be out all that money

I am pleased you found the info you are looking for and can now relax and start to enjoy the vacation.Remember more problems are caused by companies going bust than individual owners but it always pays to do your home work .

Many of the properties near DW are in Osceola county. You can check tax records there by going to http://www.osceolataxcollector.com/ and clicking on "Search Tax Records" on the right hand side just under the header. Type in what you know and it will pull up the records.

We're looking at a new owner this time and I was able to locate their condo on Osceola's county site and I know that they 'own' it - but not sure if their bills are up to date.

I found it all through osceola county websites and record searches. I was searching for so long in so many different search places I am not sure which ones I found where. I did tax record searches, and document searches, deed searches. One of them turned up the deed and mortgage, and a separate search turned up the tax bills for the last few years all paid on time. I wish I could tell you exactly how I found them, but I am not sure. I spent a lot of time searching anything that said "records search" and "public records"
