Hi everyone.. . I was wondering if any of you have had experiences with these resorts. I have a chance to stay at either of these for a substancially less amount of $$ than staying on property at Disney's Carribean Beach resort. If you could save 400.00, would you stay at either resort or keep on with the Disney. need to know soon... leaving on the 16th of January. TIA! :cool1:

Hi, I stayed at Star Island in August 2002. The resort itself was very nice. The only complaint I had with the resort was that the pool was so far from our condo. We had a 1 bedroom w/ king size bed and a whirlpool tub. It also had a full kitchen, in room washer & dryer, livingroom with sofabed, 27" color television w/cable and balcony. The place was very quiet. I did not like the drive bcz of I4 but that was the only way I knew. I stayed there for $25 thru dad's timeshare for 3 nights. I prefer Disney on-site but for $25 I would do it again. :flower1:

I have stayed at Cypress Palms and we really enjoyed it. I have also heard good about Star Island. I would say that Star Island is a bit fancier type resort with more amenities then Cypress Palms but sounds like you would be fine with either one..especially when saving that kind of money!

I'm glad to hear Cypress Palms is nice. We have a choice of staying at POP or Cypress Palms. Can you share anything in particular about Cypress Palms? :earseek:
