Can anyone CONFIRM elimination of non-expiring tickets tomorrow?

I am aware of the price increases going into effect tomorrow. I am also aware that non-expiring tickets WILL be ending in the not so distant future. I know it was THOUGHT that these two events would probably coincide, but can anyone CONFIRM that non-expiring tickets will cease as of tomorrow?

We often do a few short trips a year, MNSSHP/F&W, Christmas events, maybe a SWW, and the non-expiring tickets save a TON on these long weekend type trips. We have done a lot of Disney in the past 8-10 years and always seek out the best ticket options at that time. Many years we have had APs but those prices became too high at a time where we were starting to take shorter trips (in general). The past 2-3years we have spent a lot of time at DL, and had APs there. We are from Massachusetts so we are lucky to be only a less than 3hr flight from WDW and frequently see "bargain" (affordable) airfares. This makes 3-6 days trips for our Disney fix realistic and doable. Sometimes we use a "party ticket" one day , water park another, and only use a single day from our non-exp's . So we can make them stretch for several mini vacas. I'm not sure what this will mean in the future for our Disney travels. Honestly I'm not sure I can justify the high cost of tickets for 3dys or less a couple of times a year. APs are also quite expensive, and you Need to KNOW for sure that you will get your full use of them in advance.

Ideally, I would LOVE to stock up on a few sets of non-exp's for my three family members, but that expense right now is enough to make me break out in a cold sweat and cry....it's been a long cold expensive winter here in the NorthEast, and that's a lot of money to put out. In the end I know it is worth it, but I was really hoping to have a couple/few more months to save for it. The cost increase is manageable (although chronicling the price increase over 10 years is flabbergasting), but the disappearance of non Exp's may eliminate our yearly multiple trips to WDW. Honestly I would probably only go once every few years...and I LOVE DISNEY!!!

I have been wondering the same thing myself for the past few weeks. There's been so much talk about non-exp tickets going by the wayside this year and my guess is that no one will know for sure until Disney announces it...maybe tomorrow :(. I think this ticket is a great option for short trip folks but I guess from a business standpoint (which is what Disney is all about), it's not surprising that Disney would dump it. I didn't want to take any chances and just bought DH a 10 day non-exp hopper this morning from UT just in case.

Uh oh. I just looked at the UT site and don't see the non-expiring option anywhere. You may have gotten the last one! Or perhaps they ran out because a lot of people were buying them due to the rumors? I tried to call but nobody home on Saturday to answer the phone.

Maple Leaf still has them.

We are short trip people so now I need to make a quick decision!

edit - I bought 2 10 day non-expiring park hoppers from maple Leaf just to be safe.

I don't think anyone can tell you this 100%. I trust Mousesavers as much as anyone and their recommendation is that if you want a non expiring ticket, you should get them before tomorrow. But nothing I can find says it's an absolutely sure thing.

Nobody will be able to confirm with absolute certainty until it happens. That being said, some third-party resellers will still have inventory after the announcement. Orbitz and/or CheapTickets.com are probably your best source.

Ugh! Anyone know the answer to this for sure?

As sure as anything can be.

From wdwmagic-HERE.

"Most notable is the removal of the No-Expiration option on Magic Your Way multi day tickets."

Like others have said, until Disney officially announces it, no one can confirm anything. But, the source for the "unofficial" announcement are reputable resellers and TA.....and they of course hear about the plans ahead of a public announcement. When someplace like UCT (who announced it as being "around the corner" about 10 days ago) and MouseSavers and the others say it is imminent, then I'd believe them. They have nothing to gain by posting rumors that they don't know with a great deal of certainty are correct.

As another poster just mentioned....I no longer see Non-expiring Tix on UCT website...which is a LITTLE surprising...I figure they must have SOME left (like lesser days which would be not as popular as say a 10 day).. I did look at this option a few days ago but unfortunately left my info at work(not smart), would you mind posting what you paid at UCT this morning? I was just wondering how they were priced compared to MapleLeaf etc. I'm sure they are all comparable, and at this point, regardless of price, just getting a ticket may be enough!!!

Mackeymouse...maybe try calling UCT to see if they still have them.....maybe their website isn't completely up to date....yeah, probably wishful thinking, but worth a try. Can't tell you how often I've called a store "You had it on your site yesterday but it's sold out now, any chance you have one left in the back room" and they go do an actual look to see that they DO have one....website count was wrong.. Of course, I've also been on the other side of that stick...."but your website said you had them, you took my order and my money, what do you mean you don't have any left in the back room!". LOL

Mousesaver and UCT just sent newsletters and both are saying it is "official" that prices will rise tomorrow at both WDW and DLR. Neither says anything about the non expire though.

Posted prices and confirmation of removal of non-expiring tix on EasyWDW

THANK YOU!!! I did just check my email...both WDW & DL...ugh!!! I am curious why they have not mentioned non expiring tickets, not that I suppose they have to. I KNOW that they want to do this soon but not sure if it's happening NOW. My guess is that it IS...I was just hoping a cast member etc would have heard definitively at this point. I am of course poised to purchase some tickets-just so wish this was a couple of months down the line...oh we'll...can't change it :charac2:

I bought a no expiration ticket from UT this morning and received a confirmation. I worry, though, about a cancellation (if they're now OOS) and it getting lost in the mail and being irreplaceable (because of their note about standard shipping). Am I worrying too much? I really need this ticket; everyone in my family has the same amount of days, except our two-year-old, who won't need one for another year (the ticket is for her when she turns three). I should have just bought it from Disney, when I still could, but UT had the best price. :/ Please reassure me...

I ordered it around 10 am eastern time this morning From UT. Paid $754.01 for the 10 day non-exp w/hopper option. Has the prices already gone up across the board on UT?

You will be fine. I've ordered from UT many times without issue. And I ordered tickets from them yesterday too. Don't worry.:goodvibes
