Can Anyone Compare POR and YC for me??

..in terms of walking distances to bus stops, Epcot, Food Court?? We'll be at YC in a few weeks - (Thanks to great upsell!!) and I was wondering if it's any further say, from Parterre Terrace at POR than it is from YC to Epcot? I understand it depends on where we'll be at YC..but those corridors are A/C!!LOLOL

Any thoughts from you pros would sure be appreciated!!

i would say about the same - it really depend upon where they place you at the YC.

some rooms would be a lot further.

others would be about the same. some would even be closer.

we are talking bus stop right?

there is no food court at the deluxes. Not sure that there is even a snack bar at the YC. you might have to walk over to the marketplace at the bc.

You can almost walk to Epcot (but you also have a boat dock just about in front of you) in about the same time it took you to walk to the food court - but again this depends upon where you are located at the YC.

If you are saying is Parterre Place closer to the bus stop, food court area of POR, than Yacht Club is to Epcot and a food court.

Then my answer would be yes it is. And as stated Yacht and Beach club does not have a food court or counter service. Beach Club has a marketplace where you may purchase items to go. Very, very limited seating.

And yes it depends on where your room is, but even if you are close to the lobby it is a good walk to Epcot and (that is not air conditioned) especially if you are walking to some place you can eat.

Thanks, guys. I feel so clueless about the Epcot resorts - it's like visiting WDW for the first time again!!!

The Yacht Club is a beautiful resort and has lots to offer but quick counter service is a its major shortcoming.
