We are staying at the Cabins at Ft Wilderness, 4 adults, 2 kids (age 3 and 5). 9 nights, with the disney dining plan (got free dining). No rental car, relying on disney transportation.

Day 1 (arrive MCO at 11:30, hopefully be in our cabin around 2pm, take a bit of time to relax, let the kids play, take the boat to MK).
Dinner - Crystal Palace 5:05 (then planning to stay in MK for the electrical parade and Wishes)

Day 2 - Magic Kingdom
Breakfast - Crystal Palace 8:10 (I know it's a repeat, but my kids like winnie the pooh and it seems like a good menu we'd all like, we're getting in before park opening this day)
Lunch - CS @ MK
Dinner - CS @ MK (need suggestions?)

Day 3 - DHS (EMH opening at 8am)
Breakfast in the cabin
Lunch - CS @DHS (need suggestions?)
DInner - 5:20 50s prime time cafe

Day 4 - Open day (water park, or an extra day at a park depending on weather, maybe golf day for my DH and my dad?)
Breakfast - Chef Mickey's 9:00
Lunch - no plans (CS)
Dinner - DH and I at California Grill 5:45 (then to MK for EMH until 11pm, the kids staying with my parents and eating at the cabin

Day 5 - Animal Kingdom (EMH start at 8am)
Breakfast - at the cabin
Lunch - CS at AK (need suggestions?)
Dinner - 5:00 Rainforest Cafe (in AK)

Day 6 - Epcot (EMH start at 8am)
Breakfast - at the cabin
Lunch - have late breakfast (we'll call it brunch) at Akershus 10:50am
Dinner - 1900 Park Fare (6:55 pm)

Day 7 - Animal Kingdom (EMH at 8am)
Breakfast - at the cabin
Lunch (brunch) - Tusker Grill 10:30
Dinner - DH, myself and the kids T-Rex 5pm in DTD, my dad and stepmom at Fulton Crab House 6pm in DTD. Also booked them tickets for La Nouba, while we'll probably go to the Disney QUest with the kids

Day 8 - Magic Kingdom (EMH at 8am)
Breakfast - at the cabin
Lunch - CS at MK (suggestions?)
Dinner - 5:30 Tony's Town Square

Day 9 - Open Day (water park, or extra park day depending on weather and what our favourite park was)
Breakfast - Ohana 9am
Lunch - no plans yet (CS)
Dinner - Hoop De Doo Revue (6:15)

Day 10 - we'll have to leave around 11am to get our flight home, no plans for the morning.

Does this look good? We have a number of meals that we're paying for that were not on the dining plan, so we will probably end up with one or two CS credits left. Does anyone know of good CS places in the parks for breakfast? We're planning all but the 3 character breakfasts at the cabin, but could use them up there instead I guess. Any suggestions on timing, changes to restaurants or CS restaurants in the parks would be great!

Thanks so much.

your ADR's look good, just to say incase you didnt know rainforest cafe isnt included on all dining plans. for a CS in MK my family loves Peco Bills but Cosmic Rays is better for a wider choice. At AK Flame Tree BBQ is lovely and the water side seating is very relaxing and quiet. In DHS there is a CS next to Star Tours I forget what its called or there are the different huts down by TOT or RNRcoaster, which also gives lots of choice but a few queues. hope thats helpful

Yes, we're planning to pay out of pocket for DH and I at California Grill, the Rainforest Cafe, T-Rex/Fulton, and the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue.

Thanks for the tips for CS restaurants.

For CS at MK, we love Columbia Harbor House. They have a nice selection of "different" things like tuna sandwich, veggie/hummus sandwich, fried shrimp, lobster roll. We also like Pecos Bill's for taco salad or burgers - they have a great fixings bar.

At AK, Flame Tree is very good. Seating is sometimes difficult if you go at prime time, but it is a nice outdoor area, just beware of the birds/ducks looking for food!

Even though you didn't ask for TS suggestion, we also like the Plaza at MK. They have nice sandwiches and the best fries I've had on property. Oh and of course the ice cream!

Dinner - CS @ MK (need suggestions?) We would recommend Columbia Harbor House and the second floor seating that overlooks both Fantasyland and Liberty Square.

Day 3 - DHS (EMH opening at 8am)
Breakfast in the cabin
Lunch - CS @DHS (need suggestions?) I would go with Studio Catering Co. Good choices and lots of seating.

Lunch - CS at AK (need suggestions?) We like Pizzafari, but we have heard many good things about Flame Tree, which we will be trying this coming visit.
Dinner - 5:00 Rainforest Cafe (in AK)

Day 6 - Epcot (EMH start at 8am)
Breakfast - at the cabin
Lunch - have late breakfast (we'll call it brunch) at Akershus 10:50am

Day 8 - Magic Kingdom (EMH at 8am)
Breakfast - at the cabin
Lunch - CS at MK (suggestions?) Maybe Casey's or Pecos Bill (gotta love the topppings bar).
Dinner - 5:30 Tony's Town Square

Day 9 - Open Day (water park, or extra park day depending on weather and what our favourite park was)
Breakfast - Ohana 9am
Lunch - no plans yet (CS) Outside the parks, resort counter services are pretty much the same. However, POFQ, where we like to stay, has some more unique options. Of course, DTD has Earl of Sandwich too!
Dinner - Hoop De Doo Revue (6:15)

Day 10 - we'll have to leave around 11am to get our flight home, no plans for the morning.

I would recommend Cosmic Ray's for lunch at Magic Kingdom- they have great and lots of choices! A nice break from normal fare is Pizza Planet at HS, designed to look like the pizza place from Toy Story. Favorite at Animal Kingdom is Flame Tree BBQ. I would definitely make sure to go to Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD on one of your off lunch days.

It doesn't like you are going to be in Epcot for any CS meals, but if you are Sunshine Seasons is very good, as well as World Showcase counter service- Mexico and Morocco are very good.

Does this look good? We have a number of meals that we're paying for that were not on the dining plan, so we will probably end up with one or two CS credits left. Does anyone know of good CS places in the parks for breakfast? there is a place in AK over in Africa across from TH that has bfast CS. Main street bakery in MK is good for bfast. No idea about Epcot bfast or DHS bfast. We're planning all but the 3 character breakfasts at the cabin, but could use them up there instead I guess. Any suggestions on timing, changes to restaurants or CS restaurants in the parks would be great!

Thanks so much.

My other thought was that I was wondering if your kids need a midday nap/rest, esp the 3 yr old. Seems like you plan to be in the parks all day from what I could tell. Something you may want to consider.:goodvibes Have fuN!

Lunch - CS @ MK I'd do this lunch just wherever in the park you happen to be. Pecos Bill, CHH, pizza in Fantasyland, Cosmic Ray; all pretty good.
Dinner - CS @ MK (need suggestions?) Take a mini-park break for dinner. Go get on the monorail and take it to CR and eat at Contempo Cafe. More/better food options there than in the park.

Day 3 - DHS (EMH opening at 8am)
Breakfast in the cabin
Lunch - CS @DHS (need suggestions?) Starring Rolls, to take advantage of the wonderful bakery options for desserts.
DInner - 5:20 50s prime time cafe

Day 4 - Open day (water park, or an extra day at a park depending on weather, maybe golf day for my DH and my dad?)
Breakfast - Chef Mickey's 9:00
Lunch - no plans (CS)

Day 5 - Animal Kingdom (EMH start at 8am)
Breakfast - at the cabin
Lunch - CS at AK (need suggestions?) Flame Tree if the group likes BBQ; otherwise Pizzafari.
Dinner - 5:00 Rainforest Cafe (in AK)

Day 6 - Epcot (EMH start at 8am)
Breakfast - at the cabin
Lunch - have late breakfast (we'll call it brunch) at Akershus 10:50am Yep; just burn a few snack credits during the afternoon. Bakery in France, bakery in Norway, and ice cream at the Fountainveiw are all good ways to go.
Dinner - 1900 Park Fare (6:55 pm)

Day 7 - Animal Kingdom (EMH at 8am)
Breakfast - at the cabin
Lunch (brunch) - Tusker Grill 10:30
Dinner - DH, myself and the kids T-Rex 5pm in DTD, my dad and stepmom at Fulton Crab House 6pm in DTD. Also booked them tickets for La Nouba, while we'll probably go to the Disney QUest with the kids

Day 8 - Magic Kingdom (EMH at 8am)
Breakfast - at the cabin
Lunch - CS at MK (suggestions?) Probably, again, just eat wherever is closest in the MK. If it's a hot day, though, consider another monorail ride. This time, get off at the Poly and go downstairs to Capt Cooks. Big bonus here is that your CS-dessert choices include Dole Whips (vanilla, pineapple, or swirl. No floats).
Dinner - 5:30 Tony's Town Square

Day 9 - Open Day (water park, or extra park day depending on weather and what our favourite park was)
Breakfast - Ohana 9am

It all looks good!

Thanks so much! I love the suggestions of monorail resorts for CS lunches. Good idea, esp. if we're close.

My 3 y/o will probably need to nap at least some days. I'm hoping he'll sleep in the stroller, if not the grownups will take turns going back with him to nap ourselves! My 5 year old is a machine, no matter what we do he never naps, but conks out for a solid 12 hours every night.
