Can my adult kids- 18 and 20 really sleep and be comfortable on the bunk beds?? I can't imagine it. But, getting connecting rooms is so expensive! I really wish there were different configurations in the rooms besides bunk beds! Please advise.

There is a weight limit of 250 pounds. We opted to do 2 rooms most of the time except for one trip where we did the room that sleeps 5, so one slept on the couch and the other on the Murphy bed. We have sleep walkers and they have never used a bunk, so would rather not!

One of our adult family members just pulls down the mattress from the bunk bed to the floor. He found that much easier than going up and down the ladder. Not sure if was super comfortable but he hasn't complained after our two cruises.

Beats the bunk beds at many summer camps.

Doesn’t work well for Princess and the Pea types.

Gotta know your family’s sleep sensitivities.

Our daughter slept up there. Not ideal- rather a room with a murphy bed, but it worked just fine.

Maybe look for a room that sleeps 5, someone can get the couch and someone can get the murphy bed?

Try pricing an interior room for the kids.
They can come over and enjoy your balcony but have their own space.
One would still have to sleep on the bunk but it would be the fold down couch.
Maybe take turns in the big bed😆

Some deluxe family rooms, both oceanview and verandah, have Murphy beds. That is cheaper than another room and better than sleeping on the bunk.

I had DW cancel our cruise last month and rebook to January for a *Girls Weekend Cruise.* DW + DD + 2 DGD so a Verandah for DW and DD then the Interior for the 2 girls, 16 and 18. They have their own bathroom and bed.

DS over 6 foot sleeps in it just fine. Sacrifices you make to go on a cruise! 🤣
Same here. It is a full sized bed. As has been mentioned, only restriction is weight. 250 pounds is what I recall.

Well actually, it's not a full size in the way you think about beds being twin, full, king. These are more like a twin, but full length. Just to be clear for new people reading it.

I slept on the Murphy bed one trip and was not happy. My friend had the real bed and there sure is a big difference.

My son was 6'5" and fit just fine.

That's what I am trying to say, but not very clearly. The bed is long enough, but the term "full" might give a person who hasn't seen it the idea that the mattress has the width of a "full" size bed. Like if someone said queen I would expect an even wider bed.

Hmm.... that picture looks familiar.....

When I (42, ugh) sail with my mom and my son (9), she gets the main bed, I sleep on the bottom 'bunk' and my son sleeps on the top. It isn't great, but its fine for a few nights.

When we shared a multigenerational room, I got the bottom bunk and my DD got the top. It wasn't as comfortable as the actual bed but it was fine. Ive had worse at hotels.it is more comfortable than a sleeper sofa at a chain hotel.
