Can a PTR be therapeutic?YUP!!Addictive?**2/14-I'm home...**

Hi Jordan,

How is the planning going? Are your ADR's all set this time? Are you finished packing? Have you hit the toiletries again?

I think I will place my Garden Grocer order tomorrow and call for DS's B-day cake just in case the cake thing takes a while for someone to call me back.

Ohio is not really that bad in snow...we only get a couple of decent snowstorms a winter...5-6 inches at the most...the morning after the snowfall everything is back to normal...now NY gets a ton more snow than we do...but I guess I should say...live in any part of ohio but the cleveland area (thats where the snow belt is from the lake effect snow) My brother and SIL just moved there...SIL was from INdy...she kept on saying "remind me why I moved to the snowbelt??":rotfl:

I will never say never, I said that about NOT being catholic:lmao: and now we are methodist-whatever right?!! BUT unless his job offered him enough $$$ for me not to work and for us to get home a couple times a year, I won't go above Tenessee!!

It's not so much SNOW (that would be COOL to see every so often)it's the length of low temps. We are at 30-ish right now and I am avoiding outdoors, we have a fire going, sleeping under electric blankets and eating soup! We will have this a week or 2 then it will warm then it 'll come back, then it will stay warm. I like being outdoors or at least having the option.
BUT someone from Ohio I am friends with told me the same thing-stay away from Cleveland for the lake effects snow(whatever that is!! ;) no, I know what it is but from down here, it is an alien concept). I LOVE not wearing layers and coats and scraping ice off the car 90% of the year. Again, it is all in what you like and what your used to. My DB would move up north in a flash if it benefitted him. He lives in Alexandria, Va and he LOVED it. We lived in Dallas for 2.5 years and it snowed 2x and that was enough for us!!

I am glad you did tell me that though as a move up there is always possible. I can handle that-5-6 inches-enough to make a snowman and maye sled down a hill. I have family in Cincinatti and it would be nice to see them every so often-we only see them now like every 10 years!!

OH sorry , is this a PTR????

:yay: :dance3::banana: 10 more days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :banana::dance3: :yay:

Jordan just sent me a PM and wanted me to inform you all that he's had to cancel his Trip to WDW due to a broken hip from dancing at the local Karaoke bar as he sang Funky Cold Medina in Japanese.

Marisa, you can lock this thread and move it now.

Like you said. I don't think snow and cold should be allowed at all. It has been snowing here on and off for 6 weeks - we don't usually have snow, except a little and then a melt. The weather has been 10-20 high for many of those days. It is usually around 35-40 here. So, I think we should pack up and move to Tennesse. or Florida. or Texas. or California. Let me know where you're going! :rotfl:

Congrats on your 10 days!!!!!

I don't get it :confused3

Who is flat winkers?

Flat winkers is the picture on a stick that Winkers (cherie) sent me...I will be taking Flat Winkers with me to WDW and taking pix w/ her (mostly R rated;) )

Here's me, my tongue (who will be making numerous appearances in my TR) and Flat Winkers:

OMGosh...I don't even want to talk about snow :guilty:

I'm hoping for a snow flurry by the end of the week....One can always hope for a miracle.

Sounds a lot like Portland, OR when I lived there.....5-6 inches a year--max.

Thanks for posting again..:thumbsup2
