Can a PTR be therapeutic?YUP!!Addictive?**2/14-I'm home...**

I think that's a good idea. No one in their right mind would expect you to get adr's for extra people. Esp. not knowing exactly when or how many people.

Yeah me too..I'm going to wait to take care of this until after tomorrow....

Do these people NOT understand what goes into planning a great WDW vacation??!!! :confused3 How stressful for you Jordan! I agree to let them kind of plan their own things or you risk becoming..dundundun!!!!! one of THEM!!! :scared: Good luck to you man you NEED it!

I know what your thinking, its about time Meriann stoped by to wish me well.....

SORRY I have been just a crazy woman lately, but this is my BIG week so I am hitting the dis hard to get preped.

I would be:scared1: then :scared:  if anyone tried to mess with my ADR's like that.

I would tell them SORRY folks parks closed, the moose out front should have told you. (sorry its a vactaion refrence I couldn't resist) but seriously, I would say you are out of luck this is what I have an if they want to eat here's the number GOOD LUCK. Yes I am just heartless like that.

I need a miracle.

I think I'm going to opt w/ most advice given and just say they're on their own when they're friends come. I will make some extra ADRs, but not too many. I

That's a good idea. It's nice to try to account for people and their plans, but can be very frustrating. If they change the plans it's not very fair to put the burden on you and your cousin to make the adjustments. It's very nice of you to be willing to help though.

FOOTBALL today!!

How alike our trips are... we have 2 other friends who are considering coming to WDW when we are there, one from Miami and one from North Carolina! At least they know each other because I am not changing my ADRs because they may or may not come down! It's going to be confusing enough that 2 of the 7 of us aren't on the DDP so I'm really hoping none of the servers mess that up and over charge us for TS meals or something equally annoying. Less time spent at guest services the better! But the others are on their own! I have enough pressure without the added mess of trying to change ADRs 44 days out!

I found this report yesterday - and I haven't done much since. The kitchen is covered counter to counter with cookie ingredients waiting to be baked. :stir: The laundry is stacked in piles :laundy: - - - the dog is begging me to feed him - and the cats - well they can figure it out for themselves.

Your trip is so much like our - - - first we arrive - then our daughter for three weeks - then Jennifer,David and the girls for a week - - that is added to our daughter's time - they leave - not our daughter - and Jody and Brian arrive. Plus we meet out all Disney friends at OKW for a week - - the ADR's - they are driving me crazy. Not one of them like to plan ahead - they seem to think they can arrive at Easter and just go eat wherever they like !! LOL

So this year - CRT preceeded by a trip to the Bibbidi for hair and make-up for the girls age 4 and 6princess: - - - CG - Tusker house - Ragland Road. Hey Jordan have you tried Ragland Road.

Well - must say this is one of the best trip reports I have ever lurked on - - - - your humor is much like mine - - - a little on the sick and strange side - but - don't we have fun!!

Thanks for keeping me entertained for the last 36 hours!:surfweb:

I am now up to date - back to lurking!!:thumbsup2

They don't understand and they aren't aware either, so I don't put much blame on them at all.

I do admit I am/was stressed.

I do try to keep things in perspective and try to stay focused on the big picture....I'm just trying to avoid any miscommunication and angry feelings that may occur as a result of the ADRs...Maybe I'm asking for too much. :confused3

Thanks for the good wishes.

I haven't forgotten about the cookies either....:thumbsup2

First, I cannot believe you are heartless for one second....

I know that everyone has been very busy with Xmas and I expect folks to return after the New Year.

Good luck w/ your ADRs this week. Is it already that time? Man, time is flying...

I'm watching the Chargers stomp on the Lions right now. I'm also watching the Cowboys and Philly game.

We'll see if I have the energy to deal with the ADRs tomorrow.

Whenever you write, I'm like....did I write this? Or is Kat reading my mind?

Our trips are eerily similar...value resort switching to a BVC resort. Multiple people coming......similar dates....all I gotta say....great minds think alike. :thumbsup2

:welcome: party:

I laughed my way through the first portion of your post....:thumbsup2

I have not eaten at Raglan Road, but I am now considering this for one of the "just in case" ADRs that I may be making.....:confused3

Stop by and say Hi more often....

Ragland Road is supposed to be great from all the reviews I have read. Good food and fun entertainment - - we have ADR's this year. You go first and let me know what you think - - - -

I'll be your guinea pig.......:)

Perfect!! Don't eat anything exotic though - - - some nice fish and chips!!
The Irish band is what sounds good to me - - - did you ever see an Irish band that wasn't having a great time and spreading the cheer everywhere????

I meant to ask - have you read the book "Greatest Christmas Pageant Ever" it is a must read for anyone working with a children's Christmas program. I was head of our Sunday School many years ago - - - even wrote all of the Christmas programs - - - read the book! You will laugh - ah, I was also an organist for 25 years - my stories are many!! Should publish, but, then I would be banned by the Presbyterians, Methodist, Baptists, Episcopalians, even the Christian Scientist - - so better just leave it as cocktail party banter!!

Loved Raglan Road! If you click on the link to the photo albums in my siggie the album from Christmas 06-07 has our dinner at raglan road and pics of the food. I can post 'em here too if ya'd like! It was a cool place and i really enjoyed the atmosphere and food a lot!

I don't think Jordan will mind - post 'em - - - - could help both of us with our ADR's!! :woohoo:

Don't worry no funky food for me.

Usually if I go to an Irish Pub, I probably enjoy the band, but never remember it.....:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

The Christmas Program at our church was yesterday. I'm relieved it's over. I think it went very well.....

Being a Preacher's Kid, I've got stories to tell you.

That's definitely good to hear. I'll go take a look at the pix in a few.

My wife's involved at the program at our church. Every year she does it and hates it and every year I tell her not to do it again. I guess it's our routine.
