Can a PTR be therapeutic?YUP!!Addictive?**2/14-I'm home...**

Can I persuade your DH to take a trip to San Diego? Better rates during the off season unless you were going to go on the weekend. Still not too bad during the winter.

If you go to SD, you can drive up 2 hours and go to DL.........;)

I'm trying to help a Disney lovin sister out.:thumbsup2

DH was just talking about Santa Barbara this morning. How far is that from DL?

You see, he doesn't realize it, but no 30th birthday would be complete without Disney!

Hi Jordan,
I just found your PTR and I want to say that I'm very sorry for all of your losses this year and that you are hi-larious! I couldn't stop laughing at the pics that you took with your peeps...hehehe.

:welcome: party:

Thanks for the

I'm crazy.....I know.

Santa Barbara is about 2 1/2 hours from DL.

My bro and SIL live in Santa Barbara. It's a beautiful little city.

Hi,Jordan.Things have been busy and I haven't had much Dis time but wanted to stop in and say hello.:goodvibes

Hey I finally made it!!! So far, I think I am on page 7 so I still have a while to go before I am completely caught up but I have to interject some things here:

1) Very sorry for everything that has been going on! I recently lost a cousin (mom's cousin, actually) who has two sons - 16 and 14. Their mom passed away a number of years ago so now the two boys are essentially orphaned at probably one of the most delicate stages in life. They have been living with other family members but I can't imagine what life must be like. Your family is in my prayers

2) All of the pics of your family together made me smile! My family is by no means what you would call "big." We all fit in one living room and in one picture. And it seems like the one and only time we get everyone together is on Christmas Eve... For everything else during the year, it seems like everyone always has something better to do and they only show up on Christmas for the food and alcohol (that and we have had some serious beer pong and table hockey tournaments!) I just always wish that my family could be morely closely knit, like yours.

3) Erin, Dylan, and Baby Jordan are all beautiful! Dylan has, what is probably, the greatest hair I've ever seen on a kid who still rides in a stroller!

4) I am a victim of FDM as well. I try to justify the fact that we are going to WDW again in March, with the whole "but we're booking early and saving on airfare, plus we're on the DDP!" excuse. DBF buys it, so he must suffer from FDM as well. It is strange, now that I think about it, how I can go from crying poverty to being able to afford 5 WDW trips in 4 years. It must be Disney Magic at work!

5) When I went on my last two trips I wrote TR's for them (as you know from visiting my current one :) ) The first time I had one of those little white notepads and it was terrible. I was planning to only write notes but I found myself writing the whole report and there just wasn't enough room on those small pages! So this time, I got myself a spiral notebook and wrote whatever I felt like. If I wanted to write our a whole section in detail, then I did. But in some places, I just stuck in notes to remind me to write about something that I knew I would remember the details of (such as the Cirque du Soleil Episode :sad2: )

6) I must know how the Mediterranean DC was!!! I want to go on this SO bad and DBF keeps telling me that it "won't be fun." I need supporting documentation to prove to him that it will be incredible amazing and worth $6000! (plus airfare, meals, & souvenirs) :rolleyes1

Thanks for the  . Still dealing with it. Today, in fact, I went to call my SIL and then realized of course, she's gone.

The fact that you vacationed w/ your sibling and didn't hear too much about you getting into huge fights says alot.

3) Erin, Dylan, and Baby Jordan are all beautiful! Dylan has, what is probably, the greatest hair I've ever seen on a kid who still rides in a stroller!

Dylan and Erin have even better personalities.

4) I am a victim of FDM as well. I try to justify the fact that we are going to WDW again in March, with the whole "but we're booking early and saving on airfare, plus we're on the DDP!" excuse. I, too, am the poorest person who goes to WDW every year.

Hey Jordan I just got caught up. Great pics of you and the binder at DL. My favorite is the one where the binder isn't tall enough :lmao:. I love hearing about DL, we have never been there.

Hi Jordan! Your comments about church this season reminded me of that movie "Simon Birch" - the Christmas play scenes are really funny! :rotfl2:

Oh, and by the way, Oregon lost to Arizona tonight :sad2: Jim says it puts them way out of the running.

Another Diser, DisneyDadFanatic, was mentioning WDW restrooms...and I forgot that I have this useless knowledge of WDW restrooms stored in my memory. I even went as far as describing them in my last itinerary:eek:

Certainly I don't plan my visits around which restrooms I deem worthy of my presence, but I do which ones I like and which ones that I don't like.

I mostly judge restrooms by cleanliness and crowds.

My top 5 restrooms:Imagination Pavilion ( I won't specifically say where because it's nice and quiet and I want to keep it that way)

Theatre in the Wild at AK during a show or after last performance.

Tomorrowland near the Old Skyway Building

Restroom near Lights, Motor, Action

restroom near International Gateway.

On the right hand side of Spaceship Earth as you are entering Epcot.

My 5 worst restrooms:Restrooms near City Hall at MK

Restrooms on the right as you enter MGM.

Restroom in Harambe or at the exit of Kali River Rapids

Restroom near Mouse Gear--always busy.

The ones near Star Tours.

Some hidden gem restrooms:Upstairs at the Columbia Harbour House

Inside Brown Derby

Inside Prime Time

Restrooms at the International Gateway.

Used to be the one near Club Cool and the Character Connection, but that one seems much busier now that the Character Connection has opened.

I know I'm crazy, but an OTP(ObsessiveTripPlanner) has gotta have all the info.
