So okay...I was debating whether or not I should share the latest news. I decided what the heck. I am pretty much an open book here.
So you know my uncle died on Thursday evening/Friday morning....well, I found out from my dad that his cousin (around 75 years old) died of a heart attack on Thursday. I don't know that side of my family at all, but my parents were fairly close to them. I feel for my parents.
A little over a week ago my "aunt" (my SIL's aunt) fell and hit her face. She broke a bone in around her eye. She's 85, but in fairly good health. I've helped her out the last 3 years by cleaning her house every 2 weeks. We would always talk current events. She seemed to be up on politics. So we would always debate the latest news. I would stop by her house and bring her contraband (baskin robbins). We became very close over the last few years. Therefore, she became like an aunt to me.
I went to visit her on this past Wednesday. Her face was Jacked up pretty bad, but she seemed coherent and in good spirits.
On Friday, she was back in the hospital. She was disoriented and having problems going to the restroom. They tried all these procedures and finally she was able to go on Saturday. However, Sunday morning she stopped breathing. They revived her and put her on oxygen. She continued to decline rapidly. She passed away on Monday morning. It was really out of left field. I had just seen her and although injured, she seemed okay......
So I'm waiting for another funeral......crazy huh?
I'm just speechless (I know that's hard to believe
