So true! I got this awesome digital camera last year and I still have no idea how to use it "the right way." I just mess around with the settings until the picture looks right but I can never remember what setting I used later on
This isn't making me, the technophobe, feel much better.
i'm going to bring my camera to my friends house and have her teach me how to use it. She was a professional photographer a number of years ago. I'll let you know what I discover my bad

I think the person who writes manuals for electronics has to have several qualifications...................

they must not at any time in their life ever used said device
they need to have a desire to confuse and astound the masses.
How about the people who write the "easy to assemble" instructions for things like bookshelves
