I gained 5 lbs tonight

I love Christmas day.

My mom's side of the family always gets together at Wendy's home for 5-6 hours of eating. We truly enjoy each other's company although we are all very different. We all share faith in God and certainly that has sustained us through a very difficult year.

This year there were only 25 people. 2 years ago I think there was close to 50 there. It varies from year to year, but we always manage to have a great time.

As I said, I received a new camera for Xmas. It's pretty cool. However, can someone tell me something? Who wrote the instruction manual? I mean, who writes these things?

I also received a few gift cards for JCrew. I plan to use these to buy some new clothes for the trip that is 35 days away.....

Looks like you and binder had a good time!
I can't believe I'm referring to a binder as if it's a person!

I think the person who writes manuals for electronics has to have several qualifications...................

english is not their first, or second or third, language
they must not at any time in their life ever used said device
they need to have a desire to confuse and astound the masses.

Glad you had a very Merry Christmas with your family! Sounds wonderful. Your camera seems to take great pictures. I totally agree about the instruction manuals. As for tinker toys and lincoln logs, they are all covered in lead paint lately.

Yay for the gift cards and clothes for your trip! Getting SO CLOSE!! I'm at 43 today.

Looks like a great Christmas, and I'm glad everyone accepted binder into the family so smoothly. we used to have huge Christmases, this year it wsa just us though.

And I have NO advice on the camera manual. I got a "rear view" camera for the car last year (It wasn't compatible with my car), and we kept it just for the humor of the instruction manual!

The binder does seem to have life like characteristics...

My camera would probably take better pix if I could figure some of the buttons out.

Bummer about Tinker Toys and Lincoln Logs. I guess gnawing on them as a kid definitely had an affect on me....

I don't get in until 6am on the 31st. I am open on Thursday evening and I think a trip to DTD can be arranged.......just as long as I don't end up with shaving cream down my pants.....
