I emailed my guide George a few days ago to inquire about adding on few more riviera points before the price increase. I got a returned email saying I do not have permission to email that email address. Has anyone else gotten this? I’m not sure if this means he had left the company or if I truly am blocked from emailing him now for some reason?

I know online chat can link you to sales and maybe help out.
Ive never bought direct so can’t help on the email blocking though

When I get those kinds of emails at work that I don't have permission to email that address it's bc they no longer work here and the address is no longer valid.

Am I allowed to say the guides full name here to see if anyone might know if he’s still around? I’d be so surprised if he left.

I would just call 1-800-500-3900 and ask for him. This is the sales line for those looking to become a Member.

Agree that you need to call. DVC is very restricted on doing business via email. If he is gone they will already have a new guide assigned to you.

I used the add on tool online Sunday. I got a call about 45 minutes later asking for my credit card info, and then documents to sign were immediately emailed. We were also about to notarize the documents remotely, which was quick and easy.

Have you talked to him recently? They have some strict guidelines on who can email guides. Call or chat and they'll email you a form. Once you get the email to accept communication from Disney Vacation Club, you can email them and they can email you.

If you ask him about Riviera before the price changes go into effect, you'll get the current pricing. He has the ability to give you a week or so grace period when pricing changes.

You will need to call in any instance they won't discuss a sale by email.

I think you have to have a prior relationship. I email my guide periodically and ask for current incentives, told him how many points, etc.

This is interesting. I email my guide all the time, in fact most of our dialog is via email. Curiously, at first he couldn't call me back (even after I asked him to) because I had put a "no-call" on my phone number years ago when I first started poking around DVC and didn't want any sales calls, so I had to update my preferences. But, with emails it's never been an issue. No forms, no permissions, nothing. And, his email isn't anything special, just the usual "firstname.lastname@disney.com"

I last spoke with him September 2020. Like you, we’ve discussed pricing etc over email. The point of my email was to inquire as to whether a certain FW was still available.

My guide and I have discussed almost everything over email. Price, number of points, how to purchase, FW availability, etc. I also did this with my previous guide. They will definitely do almost everything by email.

I think about the only thing we HAD to do by phone was give them my CC # and a verbal authorization to run the charge.

Sept 2020 is a long time ago in salesperson-land. I personally would expect to find out that you have a new guide.

Normally I would agree but my guide is one of the top selling guides and also isn’t very old so I can’t see him retiring.

I had an issue with our initial guide George not answering anything via emails (we don't do phone calls) so someone on here recommended Tony and we couldn't have been happier. Bought 2 contracts through him exclusively via email, only 2 times we talked to him was for him to gather our personal info for the contracts.
