Fantastic shot :thumbsup2

Thanks!! Rich (the PPP) is a great guy, and we had fun putting it together....but you should have seen the looks on the people's faces while we were doing it! :rotfl2:

There I am - down on Sunset Boulevard -- on the ground....shooting up at...of all things....a photographer!! It was too funny!

I took this one while waiting for the Block Party Bash to start. After taking the picture the PPP asked to look at it then told me to email it to him because he liked it but never gave me his email!!

:lmao: Paaaahhh!! Oh - even underneath his pom-pom hair, I recognize that one!! I shall make sure he receives it -- this morning!! May I post it on my Facebook and tag him? I have a whole album called Phun with PhotoPass... I would give you credit, certainly -- but it would be a great addition....LOVE IT!!

ETA: Oh - and I particularly like the STICK coming out of the top -- nice touch, lol...

Aww, you are sweet, Kat. Once I get determined about something I will find a way, dammit. :teeth:

None of the three UK retailers I wrote to yesterday responded. :confused3

That included AmazonUK. (There was quite a fiasco when someone at Amazon USA offered to transfer my call overseas.) I wound up calling myself (once I figured out how) but apparently it was nighttime.

Crumpler USA called me a second time and told me I should consider a Bucket bag. :rotfl: (I think I'd prefer the vest.)

How do I get myself into these things? Leave it to me to not find a bag that everyone else uses. ;)

Pea, I havent read all of this thread but are you looking for a crumpler bag only available in the UK? if you are I would be happy to buy it for you and send it over. PM me if you need the help...:goodvibes

This is something I am familiar with.. I usually set my heart on something only available in the US :confused3

IMHO....I think maybe if I were you, I'd take a deep breath, step back, relax and now look into the future and see if there's any other camera gear you would consider buying, more lenses, speedlight, filters, tripod or how about a larger laptop ???
Now....look for a bag suitable to carry "all" you future needs gear.

I have a lowepro backpack for "all" my gear....till I get to where Im going...then a toploader I use for the day/night trips. Works for me ! ;)
Good Hunting !! :goodvibes

Thanks, It doesn't matter to me but you will have to ask him! I was just killing time and taking pictures of anything/everything when he walked by looking like this so i took his picture!

I got the lowpro Orion Trekker II (backpack) for my birthday ansd love it! I had a chance to take it with me on my trip in October! I was able to stick my poncho and several autograph books plus snacks for the day in it and I still had lots of room

Cool, thanks!! I sent him the picture and asked if I could post it on my album. He's on my Facebook - I'm sure he'll love it! I just wanted to make sure it was okay with you...

I use a lowepro slingshot 200 which I really like. There is enough room in there for my Nikkon D40x with a lens on, 2 other lenses, my gorilla pod, my kodak point and shoot and all my batteries, filters etc. I use the top section to put my sun glasses, lotion etc in and my purse fits in the section where my gorilla pod is so it is safer.

I am in the future. I've said, I have one more lens to get and that will be about it. I've got everything else I want for the most part (fortunately I do not suffer from Aquisition Syndrome ;) ). It's the netbook that threw a wrench into my system, or I'd be pretty happy with the 6 Mill $ Home. I'm going away at the end of the month which is why I'd like to get the New Delhi now. I never say never, but this should hold me for a while, I think.

Thank you, Wendy. I hate to put you through the trouble. I will PM you.

Pea,
Have you look into the Brazillion Dollar home?

word of caution...I have a $7MDH and found a post on POTN to reconfigure the dividers to fit a laptop as well as camera & lenses. I tried and it worked but the bag was so heavy that I could barely carry it :rotfl:

So, how do we add YOU to our facebook? :goodvibes

Here's mine: Debbie Staffieri Hudson

If you come there from here, let me know or else I might not add you! :thumbsup2

I post all my Disney pics on there as I post process them! I'm up to day 5 of our September trip!

I am looking for a camera bag for my SLR for our first trip to Disney...needs to hold base, 2 lenses AND I want it to hold wallet, phone, keys, a couple juice boxes a few diapers, sunblock, etc. I love Crumpler bags...do you know if they make a non-backpack that would work?
