Camera And Lenses Advice Please

I really want to get back into photography and would love to buy a decent camera, I'm looking at maybe the cannon EOS 50d SLR and was wondering about what lenses would I need to buy.

Any help or advice would be great...

What are you wanting to shoot? The lenes you will need are greatly dependant upon what your looking to capture.

For example, if you want to take shots of your local HS football team under the lights, you will need a vastly different lens than if you want to shoot landscapes of the grand canyon.
