You look like a GIRL it this photo. No wonder Howard has fallen over in a dead faint!:faint:

My darling friend Judy knew I was self-conscious about one of my favorite pix and "fixed" it for me. So, now you all get to see the wonderful and beautiful Ana and Lili who worked their magic on me for my hair and makeup trial a month ago!

Please. Please! I take no credit for that glow of love. That's all Howard's doin!!" :cloud9:

Nahh...I think it was:

A. Getting her hair and make up done by Ana and Lili.
B. Being away with Judy (Honeibee) for a girly-girl weekend.
C. Being in Walt Disney World.
D. Being close to her crush!

Answer: All of the above.

You are all so cute! Believe me, all the things Howard listed made me happy, but the thought of looking pretty for him on our special day made me ecstatic! For our original wedding, I think I might have had on some minimal makeup and I certainly did not look glamorous. Ana and Lili made me feel like I looked like a princess:

Hi Cam! Thanks for posting on my PJ, I have to get caught up on yours! DF and I loved our time at UD, we both were part of Greek life, and I did a club sport, so we definitely had a great college experience. I will be there this weekend for Homecoming!! DF is a runner, too. He's done the Philadelphia and Steamtown Marathons and countless shorter distances, but none in Disney yet. Best of luck with all of your vow renewal planning!!!

Oh, Larisa, Nick really needs to do a Disney marathon! :cool1: And it's always so nice to have another excuse to visit WDW,right? :goodvibes

I got another MAJOR project done last night (or almost done). I wanted little table tents on the tables at the dessert party with quotes from WISHES, but it took me some time to figure out how to configure them in Word. Now, one side has our theme/quote and the other side has our favorite lines from WISHES and a quote I love from Walt. Howard is going to look for little clippie holders so that if it is windy they won't blow away and once he does that, I'll print these on green shimmer cardstock to match the ribbons on the centerpieces.

What are table tents?:confused3

I am so relieved that we got lots done this weekend.
Howard emailed with Meri on Friday and we decided to get little votive card holders to hold the "table tents" so that even if it is breezy, they won't blow away, but that added several items to my to-do list, including sourcing and buying those votive holders and (on Meri's suggestion), battery operated votives. So, the votive holders are ordered (found them on ebay) and we got the fake votives on Saturday at Michael's with some awesome coupon savings.

Friday night, Howard helped me with the table numbers. I cut the numbers out of silver cardstock on the cricut and then Howard glued them to shimmer pink cardstock for me. I just have to embellish them and they will be done. :yay:

We also found a 3-wick candle for our memorial table, with each of the wicks representing my parents and Howard's stepDad (who was really his Dad, as far as I'm concerned).

We also started working on music for the ceremony. I think Howard's Mom will enter to "Baby Mine" and Jenn will come down the aisle to Pachabel's Canon in D, which was the song Howard and I used for our wedding. I may have Howard look at the words to Baby Mine and Candle on the Water to confirm that he prefers the first (it will be an instrumental anyway, but everyone thinks of the words when they hear the music, right?). I also started creating a playlist of possible songs for Howard to dance to with his Mom at the reception. I've always thought Louie Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World" is perfect, but Howard will choose.

Yesterday, Howard and I met Linda (lpizzuro123) and her DF for an early dinner and that was definitely a high point of the weekend. What a darling she is and she has the most gorgeous huge blue eyes. I was so excited to see pix from her gown fitting. I don't know if I'd be as calm as she is 3 weeks before my wedding. I am sure I'll be all :hyper: LOL!

Music is such a tough thing, isn't it, Cam!

I played Candle on the Water for Rob as an option for our first dance. He wasn't as big a Pete's Dragon fan as me, so that didn't make the cut. :( I LOVED that song growing up, though.

And you know what I think about What a Wonderful World (as that's what Rob and his mom danced to). :D

I think I'm going to be all :goodvibes :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: three weeks before YOUR wedding too!! :rotfl:

Yes Cam, this was the highlight of our weekend also. It was so wonderful meeting you and Howard and you two are just so perfect together. We had a great meal and could not stop talking. It is so wonderul to speak with someone that is going through what you are going through. You gave us alot of great tips and believe me, I don't know how calm I am. We got a great picture of the four of us and hopefully I will get it emailed to you within the next few days. Thanks also for the great Disney treats. We made it home in 50 minutes.

I felt so bad sitting there knowing Howard had to get your house ready for work today. Hopefully he was not up too late doing this. Please apologize for us. We were just both enjoying ourselves.

As far as the music goes - we are already a week late getting our CD to Meri. We are planning on finishing this up between tonight and tomorrow night.

So glad we met and looking forward to reading some more.

Linda

How touching for your daughter to walk to your original wedding song :lovestruc

I love love love Pachabel...I 'insisted' that we have Canon in 'D' for our wedding and DF said thats fine as long as he gets to choose the recessional....he said he has chosen 'Everyday I love you less and less' by the Kaiser Chiefs....Cheeky little rotter!!

Lisa and Jo -- I am so glad you like the "Canon in D" idea. I think it is so gorgeous for Jenn to walk down to.

Jo -- what a riot! Your DF's threatened music choice has me

So, I am getting more things done, little by little and my to-do list has lots of new, pretty pink check marks.

Purchased Jenn's hair jewelry and they arrived today. Got a great deal on ebay when no one else was apparently paying attention.

I think I have also solved my dessert party dress dilemma. The problem I was having is that I am determined to wear those pink shoes and carry that gorgeous pink bag. So, to find a dress that would go with both was a problem, but I thought I’d solved it when I found a pink floral dress. THEN, my friend's Mom, who is an amazing jewelry designer said she'd make my jewelry for me, so I am having her make an ensemble featuring Swarovski crystal stars. And I thought the stars would clash with the pink floral dress. Sooooo, I went hunting something on ebay and found this, which is ivory with a mesh overlay with silver and gold thread. I figure I will use a wide pink ribbon around the waist to match the shoes and bag, and I’ll find a silver bolero to complete the ensemble.

One more thing. I got the table numbers done today:

I also made significant progress on the rehearsal dinner invitations and the placecard holders. :yay:

I cannot believe how it is starting to feel like we are in "fast forward" mode!

ETA: Woohoo!! The rehearsal dinner invitations are all assembled!! :yay:  :cheer2:

Wow, I love the dress you found on eBay, so pretty and the hair jewelry is great too! The It sounds like all the little details are really coming together great. The little rhinestones on the table numbers are a nice touch too! I can't wait to see more.

Everything looks perfect. I love the dress for the dessert party. Your getting so close to your extra special day.

Belinda :thumbsup2 :cool1:
