Ah.... you like to leave it to the last minute... we've been packed for a couple of weeks.. only a month to go for us! lol.... say hello to Mickey for me.. We're comin'!!!

I'm surprised to read these posts! My sister and I go to Disney 6 months apart, I go in May for F&G and she goes in Oct for Thanksgiving. Part/most of the fun of a Disney vacation is in the planning and waiting and after trip review! This past year, due to the Canadian dollar exchange (poop), we were not able to take our trips and we had nothing to plan or talk about:mad:

89 days so I've still got my FP+ madness to look forward to (fingers crossed for FEA) and as I'm running a Disney half marathon, I will be able to focus on training up until the last minute.

Although when I'm not running (well mostly fast walking with a bit of a jog thrown in lol) like most of you I will re-plan after re-plan change FPs and ADRs at least 100 more times before I go.

Also I like checking out the boards for fun ideas of things I've never tried before and I always check my weather app to see what the weather is doing in Orlando

We leave on September 9th, which is the Friday after Labor Day, so we will be packing on that Monday.

We just went in July and I was a nutcase those last few weeks. I keep adjusting FPs by a few minutes and making all kinds of lists.

Now that we're back, I'm planning for next year!

I find the time from 60 days out to about 2 weeks out (or whenever I start to pack), is the longest wait because there really is nothing left to do but wait. I try to avoid looking at my touring plans too much, because I get too tempted to start moving a bunch of stuff around unnecessarily. I focus on packing lists, to-do lists at home before I leave, etc...

5 days out until our Universal & Disney extravaganza and I'm giddy! I can't focus on anything and there's a lot of last minute stuff to do!
When I was at your wait period 40 ish days I did things like look thru all my pics & send "dis pics of the day" to my hubby every few days! I also did some shopping for things we need for the trip, watch Harry Potter & Disney movies.. And stalk the board 24/7, legitimately :)
Waiting does suck but then it's here before you know it :) and over with before you know it :( so we try to embrace the waiting / planning!

Not totally last minute...I've had a special box of Disney only stuff sitting on my bedroom floor since I unpacked from our trip last August

Funny story- My son is currently on a week long camping trip with my mom. a week ago I told him to start packing. Walked into his room 10 minutes later to check on his progress and he was busy pulling and sorting his shirts for Disney. He's definitely picked up the urge to pack early from me :jumping1:

Ok we are 38 days out from the start of our Orlando vacation. Everything has been planned scheduled and reserved now the waiting is driving me nuts. Does this happen to anyone else. Only so much you can read up on. Waiting sucks :confused3
Yep right there with you - we are at 40 days and I'm dying - happens to me every year.

91 days out for me....started the countdown just over 200 days out. Have made and unmade ADRs, updated spreadsheets, researched and selected condo, read every word on disneyfoodblog.com, tour plans, easywdw and more.

Want to know the worst of it? I am leaving for Venice and a Med cruise in less than 40 days, and deep down can't wait to get back to WDW even more. But I am sure 10 days on a cruise will help pass the time somewhat.

Yes, I do sound like a spoiled princess and I know it! Just got very lucky this year and life is too short to miss such an opportunity.

I am so happy that there are others out there like me! Haha! Everyone thinks I'm crazy... planning and obsessing over every detail! 20 days to go and I have nothing left to do but wait!
:mickeyjum

I'm in the same position! Currently finishing my packing list and spending far too much money on summer clothes and other things I could possibly need ;)

We are 29 days out from the start of our trip (Cozumel, Miami, Orlando and WDW) and 46 days from WDW. We are from New Zealand and haven't been to WDW before so I'm super excited. But I'm also now at the stage where my itinerary is set and I don't have anything left to reasearch or plan. it's a double edge sword because if I find anything else to do I can't fit it in anywhere. The excitement combined with not being able to plan anything else is making time go slower and it's the middle of winter here and I'm sick at home so don't even have work to distract me. I think I've read pretty much everything in this forum now. I am 99% sure I won't be changing my ADRs or fast passes now, so need soppto stop reading things and second guessing decisions I made months ago.

I have huge spreadsheets with everything planned (we are away for 4 weeks) and things all printed out already. Not many people undesrstand my excitement about Disney cause we are 29 year olds without kids, so it seems weird to them. It seems even weirder when I tell them I had to book ADRs 180 days out, and fast passes 2 weeks ago.

Also, because I'm international I haven't received anything in the post from Disney. I know we don't get magic bands until we arrive, but we also haven't got any other pamphlets or anything. So I don't get any excitement that way either :(

My trip is in 21 days......my daughter had surgery last week on her ear the dr said she would have more than enough time to recover so im sitting here going CRAZY hoping she gets better soon and at the same time hoping time flys LoL
