One of the few kid shows my kids liked, that I found tolerable!

I must have missed the Calliou stage...I hear all kinds of folks talking about how awful it is, so I guess we dodged a bullet. My kids are 24 & 26 so I'm guessing it came out after they outgrew kid shows.

Nope, DS is 25 and I definitely did my time. You could always go back and catch up on it on streaming.

I feel like Caillou is an example of Canadian passive-aggression. Like, everyone thinks you guys are sooo polite and friendly, but then you unleash this on the world. You’re just a bunch of smile-to-your-face kind of people, aren’t you?

Though, I feel the need to point that we (Canadians) were perfectly happy to leave Caillou in the vault - it is an American network that is bringing him back to life

Eh, my son would watch it from time to time and he liked it. I honestly never paid much attention, probably never sat through an entire episode, as I was usually doing chores while it was on. The one I did watch and enjoy sometimes was Arthur, LOL. I also didn’t mind Barney, which got a lot of hate from parents.

So glad I don't have to watch Sprout anymore.

No more Super Why!, no more Chica, no more LazyTown or Noodle and Doodle or Pajanimals or Chloe's Closet or Bob the Builder or Thomas the Tank Engine.....

LOL. Kids are grown (28 and 23), and DH and I still (well, occasionally) get out our old VHS tapes of the original Thomas the Tank Engine (with Ringo Starr and George Carlin as Mr. Conductor). That was when they were good. We still have DS's train set with the original wooden trains and "clickety-clack track."
