Is it worth trying to call for availability after the 7 day window?

I have a reservation already -- with another resort wait-listed. If my wait list doesn't come through I was thinking of calling each day after the 7 day window to see if something opens up.

Wouldn't hurt, some one could cancel. You could also check online.

No need to call. You can see the availability on line and decide of you want to book it.

I didn't think you could book online within 7 days of a stay.

I am not sure about booking online inside of 7 days, but I would call because the web site says something about inventory could be different when u call inside 7 days.

Yes you can. I've booked online the day before check in.

If you want to check for something on the day of check in then you would have to call.
