Calling SO at work

How often do you/does your SO call while one of you is at work?

Just curious because i had a conversation with mine the other night about it and i wondered what the general concenous was.

I talk to DW almost every day while I am at work or while she is. Sometimes much more often if necessary.

Almost never. He's busy, I'm busy. Sometimes we e-mail but we rarely talk while he's at work.

I don't have a SO, but Mom calls me everyday! (But, that call often has the phrase "Get off the DIS and do your homework )

Usually once or twice a day -- DW usually calls me since it's sometimes hard for me to figure out where she's working on a given day.

My h and I hardly ever talked during the work day unless neccessary. Even at the beginning.
I know now it's a different story with the person he's with.

I call him for something important, like a sick kid, something I need an answer to immediately, or a phone call he has to call back asap, something like that. However, I probably email him way too much. Sometimes its important stuff, sometimes is fun stuff. Ill send him threads from here that I find interesting, or jokes. It works out well though because he can reply when he gets a chance and email is the only way we can have a conversation without the kids interupting us.

Maybe once every couple of weeks. We are both usually too busy to call each other at work.

My dh has a thing about calling me during the day. If I'm at home he calls me several times, if I'm at work a little less because I fuss because I don't want to be interupted all the time but still at least once or twice and at least once before I leave in the morning. I have no idea why he does this but I noticed his dad does it to his mom too so maybe it's genetic or something, lol.

we call each other (we both work outside the home) about 1-2 times/day.

DH calls me from work at least once or twice a day...... I rarely call him, and if I do I can only leave a message of his voice mail....... In case of a real emergency, I call his old secretary and she pages him.....

He does carry a pager, but I have no clue what the number is.... I will ask for it when I get closer to popping the baby out, but for now.... I dont really care! LOL

When we were trying to get a mortgage it was 25 times a day...

Now it's once to say hi...He gets up way before I do. And once to see what's for supper.(He emails his "Ditto's" to me almost everyday.)

we call each other at work only when an answer is needed or we need to let the other know about something. we both have cell phones so we will call each other on those but during the day he is in the Hospital ( cell phones off ) and my cell phone does not get a signal in my office ( and it's a work phone )

I call him if I have to tell/ask him something, but I don't call just to gab usually.

I try to at least call home once a day. My DW can always page me in an emergency.....

I check in with DH once daily to see if there are any computer emergencies that would preclude him coming home in a timely fashion.

We talk on the phone from work pretty much daily.

I work at night on the weekends and DH works of the day thru the week. He will call me at least once each shift to double check schedules and chores. I call him when I get home Monday mornings and usually then just once a day while he's at work.

So, we talk at least once to see what all the kids have scheduled for the day.

If anything else is going on, then we talk more

The H used to call me like 6 times a day! It's been so nice and peaceful the last few days.
