Calling SO at work

I page him if it is really important and let him call me back. This happens 1 or 2 times a month.

If he is sleeping at work (firefighter) he will call to tell us "goodnight".

I'm not a person who likes to talk on the phone.

I used to work with a girl whose DH called her at least twice a day. 9:05 and 4:00 everyday!!!! Like clockwork. It drove us crazy. She'd be with a client doing their hair and the phone would ring. We knew it was him. Just to check in... Iguess that would be fine for some people but I'd smother.
My sister is like that though. She bothers her DH at work a lot (& while I am trying to cut his hair! )

Where my DH works it is extremely noisey. He even has to wear earplugs. Sometimes no one will hear the phone ring. So unless I really need to tell him something or vice versa we don't call.

DW and I work at the same place, but we're not in the same department or even the same part of the building. Some days I don't talk to her on the phone, but I leave before she does, so sometimes I stop by her office to say goodbye.

In order to get in touch with my DH, I have to page him, so I only do it in emergencys. I think I have paged him maybe 5 times in 3 years.

like the time I couldn't find my favorite beach towel that I left out by the pool

Every time I am at work and almost every time she is at work.
I work 24 hr shifts and we always try to talk 1 or 2 times every day I am work. She works 12 hours and I try to call her every day.

my BF calls me at work everyday on his cell during his lunch hour. We email each other at work too

We can only make very local calls at work, so unless it is an emergency I don't call him. Nobody can call me, because I'm in class most of the day. If we need to touch base we email, but I only check my email once after last class. WE've never been ones to call each other a lot while working, he is very intense while on the job.

I very rarely call my DH when he's at work but I will call him when he's at home and I'm at work. We work different shifts.

We never called each other when we both work and I only call him rarely when I'm home. Usually it's a business decision or something is broken, but occassionally one of the kids did something that was either so cute or so bad I can't wait to tell him! Every once in a while he calls just to chat and I know what that means later!

I call when I need something...like where are my car keys, that phone number or are you working late.
He calls me for important stuff like hmm last week. He wanted me to go to a Stars Wars website and get the name of some of the creatures since they were assigning names to people at work.
You know, important stuff like that.
Or he calls just to talk sometimes if he is having a bad day.

Once a day to my husband to chat and I call Brad when he gets home from school.

Very rarely. He calls me maybe once every 3-4 months, if that. I usually think "uh-oh, something's wrong, or he wants something" (usually for me to stop by the parts store or go by the bank). I rarely call him. If I think he's at home, I might call home to say hi, but he rarely answers the phone if I'm at work.

I rarely call my husband, but he calls at least 3 times a day, usually more.

I usually call DH about once a night at work....depends what is going on. We work opposite shifts and have to have some way to communicate. DH doesn't usually call me at work unless he has a question. I will call him about once a day at home to check on the girls or to remind him of something. We usually talk on the phone 3-4 times a day, since he calls me once from his work...during dinner break.
