Calling Directly to Disney for Discount

Has anyone ever heard about calling Disney and getting a better deal? Wife's family living in Florida claim this is true. I am thinking they are referring to a FL discount but I wanted to make sure.

I believe if you check many of the threads, you will find this isn't true. Florida residents get a better deal. But, check all the 'stickies' for ticket prices.

Sometimes you can call Disney and ask if there is a pin code attached to your name/info/address. Sometimes there is but for some reason a person didn't receive the offer via email or postal mail.

In any case, they can tell you what discounts are available for the dates you are looking.

FL residents can call to inquire about FL resident discounts just like AP holders can call and ask about AP discounts. And like a PP said sometimes there are PIN codes attached to a person's name that might give them a discount. But just calling WDW CRO isn't going to guarantee that you get a better price than what you are getting online.

I have had an instance where I had an awesome CM that had knowledge of all these codes, some that I was able to stack, and got me a price I could not duplicate online, but that only happened once....I should have got his name!!
