Calling college football fans . . . which Bowl games will you be watching?

Well.... since our daughter is a student at Pitt - I guess we'll be watching the Fiesta Bowl. :)

Well....we're watching whatever Bowl game it is that Cal is playing later today (?something in San Diego?)

That would be the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl, Cal vs. Texas Tech, 8 pm, ESPN.

Now just imagine your TV if Oregon played Bowling Green on that field ... it would be like watching a rainbow vomit in your living room.

I'll be watching:

The Gator Bowl, though I hold out little hope of my Mountaineers managing a victory.

The Sugar Bowl, for pure comedic value (what happens when they need a third digit on the scoreboard for Auburn ? ;) )

The Orange Bowl, for what could be the best championship game in the past few years, even if the best team in the country isn't in it (that'd be Auburn, in case you were wondering).

The Liberty Bowl between Louisville and Boise....Points scored like they were playing pinball...If you like offense, you can't miss this one.

Well, both my teams already won:
BGSU beat Memphis in the bowl in Mobile last week (don't remember the name of the bowl!)
OSU won last night

And to top it off, the archrival of BGSU, Toledo, got whipped in the Motor City Bowl HA HA HA!!!!!
Now if Michigan loses all will be well with the world!!!
Robin M.

Pretty much all of them New Years Day -- we'll probably flip between them looking for the closest games. :)

I went to the Music City Bowl a few years back when WVU beat Ole Miss. Good times, and great atmosphere. 'Course, that was before the SEC forced them to drop the Big East 'cause they kept getting embarrassed by them ;)

Avoid NBC, Bob....That one may get ugly (if F$U's offense shows up, anyway).

Be glad when this season is over...and I've never said that before.

O.K. wvrevy, I can't let this one go....Let's see, what happened on October 2nd? What was that score??? :cheer2:

(I really need to learn how to quote!!!LOL!)

Hey, everyone gets lucky occassionally. We completely dominate the game, but let your special teams block a kick. It happens.

Besides...you don't really think you guys are going to play with Auburn, do you ? ;) You couldn't even score on our defense, and we ran all over you...and Auburn would probably beat us by 50.

All kidding aside, good luck in the game, but I honestly do think you'll need a lot more than that. I wasn't joking when I said I thought Auburn was the best team in the country, and they'll have a major chip on their collective shoulder coming into that game.

I know it is going to be a tough game. I certainly believe they can win, but it is going to be way hard. If they do lose, I just hope they put up a good showing.

Thanks for the good luck, wvrevy, I know they will need it!!

Happy Bowl Watching everyone!!! :sunny: :cheer2:

"If" being the operative word when talking about the Seminoles this season, it seems. The Iowa/LSU game will probably be a more interesting game to me, but BIL's a FSU fan, so he'll probably insist we watch that game instead.

Oh, I'm a Penn St. and Cleveland Browns fan -- I'm used to praying for seasons to end. :earboy2:

Deb...I suppose I'll replay even though I see you're employed by the enemy. ;) We'll be watching LSU for sure! Who knows what next season will hold with Nick Saban leaving!

We'll also probably watch the Nat'l Championship game to cheer AGAINST USC. ::yes::

And then if there's a game on TV and we have nothing else to watch/do, we'll watch.

Hey Skuttle I'm interested in watching Iowa's coach since he's a candidate at LSU ;)
We will also be :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: as loud and as hard as we can against USC!!
