Calling all teachers! Can you help?

Starting on Tuesday when we get back to school we will be starting our 'big idea' of community. I teach Kindergarten and I am trying to help my students understand that there is more out there other than their little neighborhoods. I was thinking I could have people send postcards from their classes in other parts of the country or even other countries. I would like the following things answered:

1. What is the favorite part of the school day for your class?
2. What is the most popular regional food for your town?
3. What sports team do most of your students cheer for?
4. What is the weather like this time of year in your town?

I thought it could be a fun math activity to come up with the answers to send too! If you could send us a postcard with your class name and the answers that would be so great! Then we can post them on a huge map in the classroom as we get them. If you would like to help, please post here and I will PM you the school's address and who to put the attention to. Thanks so much! This will be so fun! If anyone else is interested in doing this, let me know, and we will be more than happy to send one back in return.
