Quick question for those of you who have experience in these matters...We went last year 26 September to 3 October. We hadn't planned on going until I saw a WDW advertisement in July on Yahoo! that comped the Dinning Plan if we stayed at a Disney property. We would like to go again at the same time this year, but we'd also like to take advantage of any incentives. If we make our reservations for Septemeber now, and Disney offers some sort of incentive in July -- such as the Free Dinning Plan -- is it likely that Disney will extend that offer to everyone who has already made their reservations? Thanks.

Yes -- I was already booked for September with a AAA discount through Disney Travel. I got an e-mail regarding the MYW with dining, called Disney Travel and what they did was cancel my original reservation and start me a new one reflecting my MYW rate.

AKL Sept 8-24. We love September. I even love the weather. That's how I want my WDW vacations, hot enough to swim every day.

on the off hand chance that they were to offer it again--I really don't think they will, but just in case--we have rented points through a DVCer and we have gotten the dining plan that we will pay for upon arrival. If this were to be offered again--can we participate in it as renters?

BUT! i went on world wide of sports site-- good place to check before booking any disney trip--- events going on that you would never expect that might make crowd levels a bit higher.....anyway..i saw this....

Not booked yet, but we always go in September. My US/IOA AP expires the 23, so I'm assuming we'll go before then. We've got passes to WDW with four days park hopping AND four pluses left, so there's a major cost out of the way!

Yay for discounts! I'm waiting to see what WDW offers. I know theme park attendance is up, so I'm not expecting great things, but every little bit helps.

Just wondering if anyone expects it to be crowded the weekend of the triatholon, Sept 22-24? I think 2005 was the first year this evewnt was held, anyone there last year?

maybe there were absolutley NO CROWDS whatsoever for the last triathalon and no even noticed there was even one going on.......

they may have been there at that time and didnt even know it!!

i would like to ask TGM about his but i didnt see a place where you can e-mail him questions......

Thinking about it........I need to start working on DH. Did you get the insurance? Does it cover hurricanes? Just asking because I am a hurricane magnet.

Don't go the last week of Sept. I'm taking sister (who's 8) for the first time and it's DD3's b-day on the 25th, and I don't want any hurricanes!!!

I will be going sometime in Sept b/c my Birthday is the 12th I *WANT* to stay at the CR with an MK view but if that becomes to impossible (or I dont get a good deal with my soon to be purchased AP) Then I will probably stay at a less expensive Deluxe or a Moderate...I'm REALLY crossing my fingers for that CR room (I dont want to book it just yet)

I want to go in September, the last week. What do you suppose the hurricanes will be like this year? I am hoping to find deals too...my older kids have had a tough year and I'd like to take them with just good ol' mom. I'm watching DING for airfare but would love a deal with Disney too.

OK i just decided to change my week to sept 16/sept 24th-- i know i will still be there the triathalon weekend- however- i am also going to miss the beginning of the food and wine festival crowds (festival starts sept 29th)
i checked the WWS site and do not see any events planned for that weekend- i also dont think there are any holidays either... this is too hard!

now watch- florida will have a huge hurricane the week i change my vacation to!!
