Hey guys! I love all of the advice on here- so supportive! I am looking forward to my first (of many hopefully) Disney race. I just wanted to pass along some info I found out about the race after (many

) emails with runDisney, track shack, and active.
1) the race must be certified (the most common certifying agency is USATF but there are others). Ask the event coordinator of your race- they will tell you if it is or not.
2) being timed or chip timed does NOT mean the race is certified- it won't be accepted unless it is certified (this is how they prove a 10k is 10k not just "about" 10k.
3) you can change princesses on your bibs now and up until Dec 1- all you have to do is email runDisney.
4) the Dooneys will not be available for preorder- only available at the official Disney merchant table at the expo...

for those of us who will not be at the expo on the earlier days.
