Ok, I'm being dramatic but I need help from my Garmin users. I have had my 305 for 2 yrs. I went to use it this morning and it wasn't charging!!! Is it gone for good already. I know I needed to upgrade but just wasn't ready just yet. Is it really gone or can I get a new battery or something..

My 10K is tomorrow! I hope the heat doesn't slow me down too much. I am a little nervous!
Just wanted to share my Dumbo Dare experience since many of us are also doing GSC! Here's the 10K report
Going back to back wasn't bad at all! And I was in the parks 2 full days prior as well. Happy training Princesses!
i am using the Jeff Galloway app it seems great.. and i have heard people use it during the PHM??I am trying really hard to do a walk/run. Yesterday I did a mile using 30 sec intervals. First mile was a PR at 14.30. I walked the second mile at 15.36. I am working on increasing pace as well as increasing distance with a faster pace. I would also like to do the 5k at a snails pace so I don't mess up my chances of completing the half. I really want to finish it. This race is my reward for losing weight. I keep telling everyone what my motivators are. I want my fireworks. I want to run through the castle. I wnt to hear the trumpets. I want to hear the choir sing. And I want my medal! I deserve a medal for losing weight. So far I am down 26 pounds. Of course I reward myself along the way. Every 10 pounds down I get a bead for my bracelet. I am trying to get Minnie for Mickey, but these 4 pounds have been stubborn ones.
Hi
I only on page 6 so I have a long way to go before I have cached up with this tread.
But I want to introduce myself.
My name is Christina and I'm 34 old. I live in Denmark in Europe with my family.
I was suppose to run in the 2011 Wine and Dine ½ Marathon, but we got in a car accident on our way to Orlando so I ended up spending a week in the hospital with a very broken arm/elbow.
After returning home I could not run for almost a year. (My arm is not back to normal and probably never will) I started running again in the summer of 2012 but only for a month or so, before I discovered that I very unexpected was pregnant. I didn't thing it was possible after 5 years of fertility treatment and after a year on a waitlist to adopt.
But now I have a son who is almost 5 ½ months old, and I have started running again.
It's hard to start running again. I have a lot of extra weight after being pregnant and it's not that easy to find time to run with a baby that doesn't sleep much.
But I really want to do well in this race. It's a dream of mine to be able to run a ½ marathon and I was really close in 2011. This time I want to complete my goal. Even though my odds as far as training goes is not the best.
I hope it's ok for me to join this thread and that my English is understandably since it's not my first language.

Christina! Have you already signed up for the 2014 Princess? If so, good luck with training. There is still a lot of time to prepare.
Maura
(And your English is great, by the way.)
