Yep. I've been noticing that my son gets extremely red under the adhesive with some types of bandages but not with others. And my mom, who had never been allergic to them before, developed a rotten allergy to latex while dealing with a series of medical procedures.
It is the adhesive that is causing the irritation, not the latex. I cannot wear bandaids for more than 6 to 8 hours. If I wear steri strip for an extended period, my skin will blister. I have not found a fix so far, it is just a skin allergy/sensitivity.
As for the implants, I have zero suggestions b/c those looks incredibly painful and bothersome. I do agree with another PP, I would be concerned about problems at the water parks. Are they smoothish on your back or do they stand up like a little spike?
