Calling all January 2011 POP'pers!!!

We leave on Tuesday. Getting hard to contain my excitement! It will also be my birthday when we are there and my 6 year olds first trip.

Hey we will be leaving Tuesday too! I think we will probably get on the road about 10am, if not before. I hope to be mostly packed and ready to leave Monday night, but my oldest has to go to school for a test that morning. So as soon as she is done, we will be Disney bound! Maybe we could meet up sometime while we are there! Watch out for a silver Expedition, cause we will be heading south on a mission!

I just started this thread about a possible Dis meet.

*sarah* and I have been talking about setting up a DISmeet. We were thinking of either Wednesday the 26th at Magic Kingdom or Thursday the 27th at Hollywood Studios. If anyone would like to join let me know when/where would work for you.

Yes, we are watching the weather very close now. Not real sure what we will do, if it gets bad...maybe leave earlier or the night before, time will tell! Here are our reservations:
11th - 6:30PM Whispering Canyon
12th - 12:30PM Chefs de France
13th - 3:35PM Mama Melrose (Fantasmic Pkg)
14th - 12:00PM Norway-Akershus
15th - 5:00PM O'Hana
16th - 6:00PM Crystal Palace

These are our current plans for which parks on what days:
12th AM-Epcot, PM-AK
13th AM-MK Pirates League Appts, PM-DHS (Fantasmic)
14th AM-AK, PM-Epcot
15th AM-DHS, PM-MK
16th AM-MK, Pixar Pals Countdown To Fun at DHS cheer2:-first show), PM-MK
17th AM-DTD, PM-Driving to SC

You will have to let me know if we might be the same place at the same time. I have some serious packing to do this weekend, so I'm ready next week! Only a few more days now!

We are at Ohana's on the 15th at 6:20.
Our schedule is
12th MK
13th Epcot
14th HS
15th AK
16th unknown
We are gonna bounce back and forth between the parades and fireworks. Our daughters are about the same age as yours. My parents are coming along with us as well. I can't believe it is finally here-just hoping the weather cooperates because we can't really leave any earlier.

We're going to be at Pop Jan 15-19th. Can't wait! This is my DD's first trip (well, first trip that she'll remember, I don't quite think the trips at 14 months and 2 years count). Got the ADRs done, parks picked out, looking at things we want to do/avoid, starting on the packing planning. My DH thinks I'm overplanning-I think not! (Although I keep telling myself-I will not freak if plans get derailed-)

I have an idea!
Since there are several of us staying at Pop, and there seems to people who would like to meet, but are going to different parks on different days ... How about a Pop DISmeet?
We could do 7am Tues at the food court. It's early enough in the week, that if we see each other later, we will know who everyone is. We can all have breakfast, then hit the buses at 8 to go to our parks for the day.
What do you think? Good idea?

Just to clarify -
My suggested Pop DISmeet would be in addition to the general DISmeet.
I didn't mean to suggest it should replace it. When I reread my post, I realized it could come off that way. That's not what I intended at all. Sorry!

As I posted on the meet thread, I can do DHS on Thurs.

I am SO excited!!! we are all getting so close!!! SO jealous of those that have left already!!

That sound like a good idea to me. The food court is quite big though, we would have to pick a more exact location. What if we met right by the entrance between the gift shop and the food court? That might make it a little easier to find each other. Let me know what you think.

Your idea seems a bit more realistic.

So, POP DISmeet at 7 at the entrance between the gift shop and food court? We'll still try to get extra seats and make green mickey heads obvious for those that are running late ?

Sounds good to me. I may have some other people with me, if that's okay. I'm not sure if my mom and nanny will want to eat with everyone or not. My friend that works there might also be joining us. Looking forward to meeting everyone that shows up.
