Calling All Foodies... Xmas advice please

I wholeheartedly agree that Cafe Mickey is great for a character meal. We loved it so much when we were there in June we went two days in a row, one was pre-planned, the other was spur of the moment. You get loads of character time and the portions were filling, for us anyway! :thumbsup2

The room is bright, colourful and lively. The staff were great and the Characters took a lot of time. We found the best time was to go for an early sitting as it was quieter, we were served promptly but at our own ace and got a lot more time and photos with the characters!

It gets the thumbs up from us everytime - we loved it!

What time would you say is the best at Cafe Mickey for the characters? will have to look at the times of the parades aswell as dont want to miss those when booking meals! Have you any recomendations for Xmas lunch? Thanks Jo

We were there for it opening at 12 and the first batch of characters arrived shortly after about 12.15-12.30... the place was relatively quiet, until around 1.30 when it started to get busier but I can say even when it was 'busy' i.e. all tables filled, I never felt there was time to get bored, between eating and characters milling around the tables, we felt like we got a lot out of it at that time. We felt that by having the character interaction from the outset while it was quiet, we didn't notice any wait between our courses, although I'm sure there was some... It was non-stop for us! I'm sure whenever you go though, it's a great experience. I don't think I've read anyone have a bad word to say about it, although there might be the odd person I'm sure. We'd swear by it. Hope you get your booking!

And if you see us, give us a wave! I'll be posting piccies up in my very first TR (hopefully getting done over the weekend when I get a minute) so you'll maybe recognise us, not that I'm hard to miss these days... I'm the one with 2 wheels instead of legs... ;) :lmao:

Have a great trip though and I'm sure you'll have a great time, after all, its DLP so who wouldn't :confused3 :rotfl2:
