hi everyone! I'm Back finally!

I bet you guys never thought youd see me again right?

I just got back to davis on saturday night, and sunday marc got back too. for the past few days weve just enjoyed each others company watching movies etc. But today he had to go back and due to overtime and wildland fire training week I will not be able to see him until at soonest the end of the month! kinda stinks!

So much has gone on since I was last on here.

Sandy- I hope katie is feeling better. I bet your so relieved about stephanies surgery. BTW i will have both of your parents in my prayers.

DJY- what did you win? Sorry if im ill informed but im really curious what it is.

Im still on cloud nine that last week i was watching a special on disney fairytale weddings and the couple that they were showcasing was a diser!

What did everyone do for st. pattys? We watched boondock saints and i made green cupcakes!

I got Kevin up and out of the house on time this morning

The news about Natasha Richardson is so sad!!!
I not really "a fan" of hers, but this just shows us all how fragile life really is.
It's a real reality check on how we should all live our lives like it's our last, because you never know what tomorrow could bring.

hi just checking in and trying to get back to a normal routine. This thread and the podcast are things that ive really missed. I havent had a normal routine where I get to enjoy them since before I went to florida.

I forgot to mention that marc and I found an apartment complex that we like. We had a hard time finding one because many are low income housing and since Marc just started his job a couple months ago, we now over qualify. We only found 1 place that we really liked and wasnt low income. It is more expensive though and its hard justifying it when marc isnt around half the month. Now that the new quarter is starting soon Ill have to wait until june to find someone to sublease and have time to move. At least it seems that these other boys in the house are starting to shape up. AKA not making a pig sty 5 minutes after I clean up.

Are you guys doing anything cool for spring break?

You should definitely check out the podcast! Im way way behind, but they always have lots of good tips and information and they are just a crack up! My favorite thing they do is probably the news segment because it keeps me updated about things in the company or just disney property. Just be careful because it isnt sugar coated and when disney does something stupid or overcharges pete will go off in a rant.

ok so I am still alive!! We have been so crazy! james' baseball team has been practicing 4 or 5 nights a week. Emily had her regular allstar practice plus she is filling in for another allstar team so she had their practice schedule also. Then she had cheer clinic all week after school for tryouts for the high school squad. Work has been crazy. By the time I get home at night I just go to bed! I am sorry for being gone so long! James has Opening Day at the park today. The weather is beautiful! Emily made the high school team! We will be leaving in a bit to head to Biloxi, MS for her competitions today. My mom got a room at one of the casinos so we are going to stay there tonight and spend a few hours by the pool tomorrow before we come back. After this weekend we will get back to a normal practice routine.

CB - I am glad you are back too!!! It's good to hear from you. Good luck with the apartment hunt and the sublease!

DJY - Congratulations!!! please let us know all the details!

Blueeyes - I am envious of your trip! I would be a little stressed by not knowing details, but I think I would really enjoy a more spontaneous trip too!

slo - I am glad Katie is feeling better!! Did the doctor give her a spacer with her inhaler? It can really make it easier for young patients to get all their medicine. I am glad Stephanie won't need another surgery! I agree with you about not assuming your job is safe! i worry about mine with the changes in government and how this will affect Medicaid. A large number of our patients and if Medicaid cuts Synagis (the medicine I give to prevent RSV) out we would probably close! How is your headache? are you feeling better?

Well, I am off to throw a few things in a bag for the trip and head out! See ya'll tomorrow!

Good morning all! I have Mondaymorningitis! I just can't get going! The competition went well. The team Emi filled in on took 2nd and her regular team took 1st. James' baseball team lost. Our pool time Sunday was nice! The pool was great! We didn't want to leave to come back! Emi had cheer practice and James had ball practice. His practices don't end until 8:30!! Too late! This really bugs me!

Karen - I'm so glad to see I was seriously starting to worry about you. But, then I started to think that if anything happened to you, or your family, that your mom would probably let me know, and that made me feel better
**Holy Tamoli you've been busy!!!! Congrats to Emily with her awards this weekendI'm sorry James team lost I hope he's not to disappointed. Have a safe trip home today!!!!!
**Thanks for asking about the headaches. They come and go - it depends on the day, and how bad my neck is hurting (which is everyday). I haven't worked out in so long, and I feel the weight coming back. Once it gets nice out, I can walk again, and I look forward to that.

CB - I will definitly check out the podcast. I saw that I can put them on m ipod - have you ever done that?



Well, I gotta run and get the dog out so I can go in the shower.

Stephanie has begun her spring break with a stomach virus
The poor thing was sick most of the day yesterday, and her plans with my mom can no longer happen today - she's not happy Luckily she slept all night (I didn't, because I was listening for her), and now she just woke up like a grizzly bear Crabby, crabby, crabby!!! It's going to be a long day with her at work with me



Blue - We would love hear about your Florida adventures!!!!

Karen - I hope so too, because I'm really tired of wearing a coat



Well, I need to run and take Sophie out and get ready for my fun day with Stephanie at work. I sure hope she cheers up, because it's going to be a long day if she doesn't

Hi all! It's very rainy here and will be for several days. I hope this means James' ball practice will be rained out tonight. I know - I sound like an awful parent, but his game last night didn't end until 10 pm!!!! He is so tired this morning. If he practices tomite it won't end until 8:30. Emi has a cold and is going to stay home from school today. Jim won't be doing yards because of the rain, so he will be home too.


sandy - I'm sorry you have a crabby baby to take to work! that will be a long day!

cb - It will be good to get back into your routine. I like to stay home for a few days, but after a while I need to be back at work.

She is doing much better!!!!
Kevin and I did some research on what she had, and she had the exact symptoms of salmonella. She ate 3 hard boiled eggs at my in-laws, and she got sick shortly after. The way she was just didn't seem like a stomach virus, because she was in ALOT of pain - I mean ALOT!!!!! I called my inlaws and told them to throw away those egss. If Katie gets sick, than I'll know she had a virus, but I think it was the eggs. My inlaws feel bad, but I assured them they shouldn't, because it's not their fault All I know is Steph is better, which is a great thing!!!!


Sam - That's great about going back to work What are you doing?

im back to work at the bookstore warehouse where I have been for the past year aside from florida.

sandy- Did you take her to the doctor. I have terrible memories about salmonella. did I tell you guys already? In the 3rd grade I got salmonella, but the doctors were unable to diagnose it. I was out of school for a month total! I got sick and was vomiting, and all of that nasty stuff! I had a fever of 104 most of the time! I jsut remember being so miserable all the time. My dad threw me in the swimming pool in march! just to try and get my fever down. literally threw me in! and ice baths and frozen vegetables were my enemy. This went on for weeks and the doctor (the father of my classmate) was doing tons of research to figure out what it was. He would call in the evenings and ask if you touched my thighs did they turn purple? no? ok ill keep looking.
During all of this my family was preparing for my cousins wedding in So Cal. My cousins were there and shopping for nice clothes etc. My grandma bought me a dress, but we thought my mom, dad and I would have to stay home. The day before or the day of maybe they found it was salmonella and I got my prescription. The three of us got dressed up and drove straight to the wedding. (me still feeling ucky) My medicine told me to stay out of the sun (outdoor wedding) so i was forced to sit near the bushes most of the time. Almost immediatly I was feeling better and in a matter of days I was back to normal! Withing a couple weeks my mom got slamonella and they learned their lesson and treated her quickly.

I think that maybe salmonella wasnt as widespread or common as it is now, because I cant imagine why it took that long to figure out. i believe this ordeal was one of the main reasons my immune system is weak. I seem to get sick very easily even since then.

Good morning all! It is nasty here right now. Severe thunderstorms and tornado watches. It will slow down carpool and I don't look forward to driving all day in it!
James did have practice yesterday! It rained until lunchtime then quit until last night. Emily has tumbling tonight and she is going to try the new hip hop class they are offering at the gym.

cb - what a horrible childhood experience!! How is it to be back at work?

sandy - I am glad Steph feels better! That's one more reason for me to not eat eggs! Yuck!

Morning! It is still raining! At least it washes all the pollen away! There have been a few downed trees and possibly one tornado in the general area, but mostly just lots of rain!

sandy - I do not eat eggs. I did as a child, but now the smell just grosses me out! If they are in something (like cake) that's different. I don't eat things that have chunks of eggs. My family even makes my own bowl of egg free potato salad. I will cook them for the kids! Sarah is the same way!

I am so glad it is Friday!!!!!

I am totally not knowledgeable about computers, but I am getting better with age. Last week I realized I could put my CD's on itunes (yes it took me over a year to figure this out), and all this past week I've been putting songs and CD's on my ipod (when I eat lunch and sit at my desk at work). Now I have 967 songs on there - I love it!!!! When I take the girls to library tomorrow, I'm going to check out their CD's and add more. I made an easy listening section, and I played that at work yesterday - it was nice to listen to something different. When my 18 year old employee walked in the door she said to me, "What radio station is this?(her making this face)" When I told her it was my ipod she said to me, "Why is this on your ipod?" She didn't like it at allI told her I was going to burn a CD of it, and secretly put it on her ipod


Karen - I used to be that way with peas, but I am better now (I can eat them in things, but not alone - they make me gag), but I am still that way with coconut {{eewww....}}.
**I had to chuckle about the seperate potato salad, because my mom does this with a seven layer salad for Kevin. He hates green pepper and celery, and that's 2 of the elements in a 7 later salad, so she makes him his own.
**A tornado in your area - scary!!!! I hope that weather goes away soon!!!
