HI Chicago friends.... I AM HERE now! Just saw the update from Tiggerrn in my email box and reminded me to say hi to you all from Mickey. It is BUSY this year compared to others - of course I'm not as good a planner as most Dissers. Beautiful weather though and loving this free wifi FINALLY. Hope you're all well.

mac....hi! i still take that same flight home every year. will be on it sunday. .. or monday if they bump me for 400 $. I'll watch for you.
It was so friggin hot and crowded at MK today, I left early, came back to hotel and napped. Need to start earlier tomorrow I guess. The only one that broke down with me in line was the People mover - it felt like a long wait. BUT OF COURSE IT'S STILL FUN!
I need to learn how to tweet and get the info you do some day. How was your trip?

So I though I would share the latest details for my upcoming WDW Trip...

I'm goin to Orlando the day after Thanksgiving...the other night I re-booked my Southwest flights...now I leave 1st thing in the AM on a non-stop flight...so I'll be in Orlando by 10:30am...after re-booking, I now have a $30 credit w/ Southwest...

On Friday & Saturday, I'm staying near downtown Orlando and will be checking out the city...I plan to look at 3-4 apartment complexes & see how they look in person and check out thier neighborhoods...I'll do some 'drives' from these complexes to WDW & Orlando to see how far the rides are...I'm gathering info for a possible move in 2-3 years...I'll probably check out the night-life as well...I "might" go to US/IoA on Sat...maybe...

I just found out that my cousin and his family will be in Orlando for Thanksgiving and that my aunt/uncle will be visiting them...so I'll probably visit with them one of those days....

I'm renting a car from MCO to use for Fri & Sat...on Sunday AM, I will return the car to MCO and then take Magical Express to WDW...

I'm booked at POP for a whole week...Sun to Sat...I have free QS dining with my stay...I treated myself to a preferred room...at the 10-day mark when I do my on-line check-in, I'll ask for a wheel-chair assessible room...these rooms have a queen-size bed and an over-sized walk-in shower...as long as this type of room is not booked by someone who needs it, I usually can get this room request granted...

I'm attending MVMCP on Tues 11/27...I'm attending CLP on Thurs 11/29 for my B-Day...the narrator is Neil Patrick Harris...AWESOME!!!

I have the following sit-down meals planned:

Sun Night: Grand Floridian Cafe
Mon Night: San Angel Inn
Tues Afternoon: The Wave
Weds Night: Kona Cafe
Thurs Afternoon: Biergarten (for 5pm showing of CLP)
Fri Afternoon: Sci-Fi Dine-Inn
Sat: Undecided for my departing day

On Sun, Tues & Sat I will try to eat at the new Be Our Guest resturant...quick service lunch for sure...but I will try to get a last minute sit-down meal for dinner...

So I think I'm ready for my trip...just need to save up some spending money...and counting down the days...35 Days to Go!!!

in our town, halloween for trick and treaters was this past sunday.
they can only do this from 2 to 5.

we never get any kids which is a good thing as we had no candy..........
have not had any kids come to our house in over 10 years.

Your trip plans sound like so much fun - and not so far away at this point! Bet you're getting excited.

Pretty sure it's a good time to pick up some real estate there. Good for you.
I always treat myself to a Preferred room too. I once thought they would honor my request of being close without $ paying - and ended up walking WAY TOO FAR to my room. This time I had the king/accessible room too - that happens about half the time, but not by request.
I also decided to go with the meal plan from now on...........the food there is just ridiculously expensive without it (and I don't eat fancy). I spent double the money this trip that I usually have on food. Way more than the room discount (I think it was 20%). My rewards card was supposed to last me all week and it was gone by Wed!

Yes, the week after Thanksgiving will have LOW crowds according to TouringPlans...plus this should be a "easy-going" trip...I don't have a list of things I need to do...just gonna head into the parks and let what-ever happens happen...I called WDW the other day to check the status of my paperwork...I asked about the king bed/accessible room request...the CM said my pin code did not allow for this request...she said to wait until I arrive and ask for the room request...we'll see what happens then...I hope my preferred room is close to the main hall...I will update upon my return...Thanks!!!

It took me several days to recover..or was it the cleaning the house, plus cooking and no help??? from anyone even Eagle Scouts with a BSA cooking badge..

my boys are all single still.

those within our four walls have been going through some tough times in november this year.
Mr Mac has had 2 surgeries, i had 3 different surgeries the week before Tday and son had surgery the week of Tday.

we have been eating scrambled eggs a lot here..........lol

thanksgiving was peanut butter (creamy or crunchy) and jelly sandwiches for us.

the best thing about all of the medical problems with our family is we all lost weight.
i am thrilled with that part..........

Hello Friends!!!! I can't believe it but this is my first time logging into the DIS since September 2012. I can't believe it. Alot has happened over here. I'm happy to announce that DH and I are have a little Mouseaholic on the way, due July 15. The holidays were crazy and such. We just booked ourselves for a 5 night Caribbean Cruise on the Wonder on Thursday. Sets sail January 28. So that gives us 2 weeks to plan! ) It's a good thing we are both travel agents. LOL.

Mac - I hope everyone is fully recovered from your rough November.
Geffric, Tiggern, Slo, Crissup, and everyone else - Hope you are all doing well and Happy 2013!!
